Color challenge

It took me a while today to finish this card. I knew I wanted to use the colors of the color challenge today which are Eggplant Envy, Certainly Celery and Cool Caribbean. I also knew I wanted to use Kim McNutt’s great take on layout challenge SC112. What I didn’t know was what set to use with it. I basically had everything but the center image done. I played first with Big Blooms, then with Mixed Bouquet and finally ended up with Swell news. The solid images just didn’t seem right with the rest of the card.

Awwww, how sweet! I’m honored that you chose my design idea to duplicate, Beate! You always add such a special something to your cards. :) Btw, thanks for that tip on the corner rounder punch! Too cool! I’ll have to try that!

LOVE your doodles… I’ve just started adding doodles, and have to remember that they don’t have to be ‘perfect’, although yours are!!
