First Signs of Spring
For all my blog friends and visitors in the North, I took pictures of the flowers blooming in my backyard right now. They are so pretty. I don’t know what they are called, but I thought you would like to see the first signs of spring!

I believe the pink ones are Azaleas. If they are on a bush and there are tons of them, then that’s what you have. They love acidic conditions; so if you drink coffee, sprinkle your used coffee grounds around the base of the bush in the mornings.

Ann….thanks so much for the hint. Yes! They are on a HUGE bush with glossy dark green leaves. Those flowers are big! They are about four inches! We are not coffee drinkers though. Do you think a bit of my precious diet coke might work?

The white one looks like it may be a rose, or maybe a camelia. Hard to tell from the picture

Flowers, All we see here in Northeastern PA is snow and rain. I am anxiously awaiting the crocus. Always our first sign that spring is coming. We have the bushes that you are talking about. They just hang frozen. Have a wonderful spring day!!!!!!!
