But then I got my mail! Inside my mail box was

  •  my spring mini swap with a very special swap group I am in. All the samples are amazing! So many great ideas!!! I am so glad I started swapping again!!!
  • My Adobe Photoshop Elements! I can’t wait to play with it tomorrow. I might not stamp that much. LOL
  • And a sweet card from one of my first stamping friends back when we were both living in Illinois. Thank you Rita!!!! Your card is amazing like always! What are those gorgeous stamps? Where do I get them from. Do tell.

Check out how even the inside of the card is super pretty.

I really meant to go to the grocery store after I uploaded the last image. But just then the sweet brown truck pulled up. Looky what he brought me:

cindy-goodies.jpgRemember last week….when I was so sad that I didn’t have any Prima Flowers? Well…I called my friend Cindy Lyles and she helped me out. See…she has an amazing online store . She had everything I wanted and more and got it out to me right away!!!!

Those flowers are so pretty. So are those bottles. I just want to look at them. And see…I got more ribbon. I love this organdy ribbon with polka dots from May Arts.

Let’s just say I am having one SWEET day!!!!! :)

I finally finished today’s Ways to use it Challenge card. This one was hard for me. Julia wants us to mix up different manufacturers products. Well…I have to say. Besides may arts ribbon , the gorgeous Marvy Urchida scallop edge punches and a few My Favorite Things stamps, I only own Stampin’ Up! products. I don’t have other paper. So I pulled out this bathtub beauty from My Favorite things and made my second Clear stamp card.

mft-bathtub-beauty-wt.jpgI started with a piece of 8″ x 9 1/4″ shimmery white paper from Stampin’ Up! I folded it in half and added polka dot paper from our retired Love me Designer paper pack.

I stamped the My Favorite Things bathtub lady in black stazon and colored her with Blush blossom, pretty in pink and going gray Stampin’ Up! classic ink. I added dazzling diamond glitter with the 2 way glue pen on the mirror. For extra dimensions I added the glitter over the bubbles with liquid glue. I still have to get used to that the newer liquid glue is so much more liquid then the older kind, which was more like gel.

The ribbon is from May Arts. You can find it at Cindy Lyles online store! The saying is from MFT  and is stamped on shimmery white cardstock. I punched it out with my 1″ circle punch from Marvy and layered it on a black punchout from the designer label punch. I added two white gel pen circles to make faux brads (I really need white ones bad!) and the card was done.

I hope you are having a great afternoon. I am off to run to the grocery store now. Hugs and smiles

I have to send something out TODAY, and needed a quick card that would fit in a business size envelope. So here is what I did:

polka-dots-paisleys-quick-joy-3×6.jpg

I grabbed some scraps of petals and paisley paper and threw it all together on a 3″ x 6″ marigold morning base. The flower is from Polka Dots & Paisley and is inked up with Marigold morning and Old olive. I punched it out with the 1 1/4″ circle punch, added a 1 3/8″ Taken with Teal layer and added some ribbon. Of course I had to paper pierce. I also added a small scallop border to tie the white in.

Done! Now I have to run to the mailbox! LOL

I got her sweet pig card in the mail Yesterday. I was already drooling over the card when it was posted on her great blog Ink it up, but boy oh boy….is it even prettier in real life.

kendra-gles-bloggers-rak.jpgShe dry embossed the pretty in pink layer with her cuttlebug and frayed the edges. The pig is wonderfully colored and it has glitter on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kendra, you are a doll! You so made my day. I am still grinning because I received this card. The blogger community is simply amazing! I am having a wonderful time since starting this blog.
