Afternoon Delight
I finally finished today’s Ways to use it Challenge card. This one was hard for me. Julia wants us to mix up different manufacturers products. Well…I have to say. Besides may arts ribbon , the gorgeous Marvy Urchida scallop edge punches and a few My Favorite Things stamps, I only own Stampin’ Up! products. I don’t have other paper. So I pulled out this bathtub beauty from My Favorite things and made my second Clear stamp card.
I started with a piece of 8″ x 9 1/4″ shimmery white paper from Stampin’ Up! I folded it in half and added polka dot paper from our retired Love me Designer paper pack.
I stamped the My Favorite Things bathtub lady in black stazon and colored her with Blush blossom, pretty in pink and going gray Stampin’ Up! classic ink. I added dazzling diamond glitter with the 2 way glue pen on the mirror. For extra dimensions I added the glitter over the bubbles with liquid glue. I still have to get used to that the newer liquid glue is so much more liquid then the older kind, which was more like gel.
The ribbon is from May Arts. You can find it at Cindy Lyles online store! The saying is from MFT and is stamped on shimmery white cardstock. I punched it out with my 1″ circle punch from Marvy and layered it on a black punchout from the designer label punch. I added two white gel pen circles to make faux brads (I really need white ones bad!) and the card was done.
I hope you are having a great afternoon. I am off to run to the grocery store now. Hugs and smiles

Very pretty card !
What about using white embossing powder to make your own white brads? I had not tried this but have seen it suggested and done on other blogs….
