Morning Quickie
I have to send something out TODAY, and needed a quick card that would fit in a business size envelope. So here is what I did:
I grabbed some scraps of petals and paisley paper and threw it all together on a 3″ x 6″ marigold morning base. The flower is from Polka Dots & Paisley and is inked up with Marigold morning and Old olive. I punched it out with the 1 1/4″ circle punch, added a 1 3/8″ Taken with Teal layer and added some ribbon. Of course I had to paper pierce. I also added a small scallop border to tie the white in.
Done! Now I have to run to the mailbox! LOL

I’m beginning to like this size card more and more the more I see it on everyone’s blog. Very popular, KWIM?

Darn it! This is Soooo cute!! Isn’t it funny how the yellow’s in this paper can really correspond to so many of the SU colours. I had been using Apricot or Saffron but Marigold looks amazing too!
Great job!
