Crazy Ribbon Technique challenge
When I read today’s technique challenge I thought there was no way I would participate. Fraying grosgrain ribbon all the way and then using it in a card didn’t appeal to me at all. But then I thought about the little basket in our new Bunny Hugs stamp set. I could use that wild ribbon not on a tag …. but for Easter basket filling…..and if I would put a cute little chick on there….
That’s how this card idea was born. Of course I had to use some Petals & Paisleys designer paper again. I haven’t used this design of the pack yet and thought it would look cute. The card base is Taken with Teal. The Certainly Celery oval and strip are stamped with the Paisley background stamp. Chick and basket are mounted with dimensionals. the strip is paper pierced.
I didn’t add a saying. That way I can use it for Easter, baby girl arrival card, a card to say hi (hi,chick!)….
I like how it turned out. Yes, I had my dentist appointment. Only a cleaning, no cavities, yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, the house isn’t cleaned yet. LOL Stamping is so much more fun.

Adorable as usual! I love the idea of the basket with the shredded ribbon. This is a very versatile card…hmmm, casing will be happening here!
Oh, the house has to be clean before you stamp?????
