Big Window Trifold
All your wonderful color suggestion made me grab some of my old favorites. When I started stamping, the Earth Elements and Rich Regals were my comfort zone! I made another trifold. This time I cut a bigger window in the center panel of the card.
I started out with a piece of 6 1/4″ x 9 1/2″ piece of cardstock. I scored it at 3″ and 6″. The inside of the card is stamped with Linen background and Flowers from Polka Dots & Petals. The main image is stamped with flowers both from Polka Dots & Petals as well as Polka Dots & Paisley.
I got the idea of the flower bouquet from the wonderful Debbie Olson. She is an amazing stamper who continuously amazes me with her artwork. The faux stitch stems I saw first on one of Sharon Harnist’s cards. She is another wonderful artist! You can find both of their mind boggling blogs on my blog roll to the right.
I still had the matching jumbo wheel with the white cartridge out from my project yesterday so I decided to use it on Kraft cardstock.
I used Always Artichoke, So Saffron, Rose Red, Regal Rose, Cool Caribbean and Chocolate chip Markers and Classic ink on this card.

Love this! I so enjoy your recipes and I can finally see how “inspiration” works; I know what your talking about . I’ve actually learned the tri-fold card from seeing and touching a Beate original - some people need the hands on inspection - but I can follow now.
TFS!!!

Beautiful as usual. Do you have a tutorial for this tri-fold some-where that I may have missed? I really want to make one. Thanks for taking so much time to post the lovely samples you create. Barbara

Awesome!
Just a quick note to let you know that you inspired me to make my first tri-fold long card from 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock.
I sent it to a very special friend who turned 86 years old today. I used the unfrogettable stamp set and on the side flap I weaved ribbon instead of putting a thin strip of cs. I must say I almost didn’t want to give it away, but took pictures.
