All morning I was working on a scrapbook page for my Artisian Arward entry. After lunch I knew I wanted to stamp just for fun. I went through my idea book and came across Amy’s challenges.
I love Amy’s blog Heartfeltgreetings. I love Amy’s work. AND I love Amy’s challenges. I have been checking them out, but I haven’t made a card with it yet. I picked last Sunday’s challenge as my layout for this card.
The Marvy scallop circle with Celery Center has been laying around my stamp room for two weeks. I couldn’t stand it no more. It had to be used!!! You can’t see it in the picture, but the Celery Center hast the Paisley background on it, tone in tone.
I stamped the medium size flower from Big Blooms in Chocolate Craft ink on white cardstock and embossed it three times with clear embossing powder. I glued a medium clear circular button with Crystal effect on the saffron flower designer paper from Petals & Paisleys. After it was dry I cut around it and taped it in the center of the flower.
The Saying is from a Stampin’ Up! set out of last years mini called Edgy Eloquence. I am still hoping it will make it into the next big Idea book and catalog. I love sayings….and this one always makes me smile!
The gorgeous brown brads are from Starlitstudio’s online store!
Thank you Amy! This was one fun challenge. I will have to try out your other challenges as well! Hugs and smiles

The card is great…AS ALWAYS..but my fav is the use of the saying. It is too cute! By the way, the battery on the jeep is still not operational. I think we need a new battery…YUCK
Great Job!

awwww, you’re bringing tears to my eyes, that was so sweet! I’m serious, I’m all choked up. You made my day. I thought I had you on my feed list, but you’re not on it, I can’t believe that. So I am trying to add you but it keeps giving me an error. Strange. I will keep trying. Beate, thanks girl. You’re a gem!
