It’s casing time!!!! Today’s challenge feature’s SCS member DuckwaddleQuack. I love Sunday’s challenge.
I picked this card to case from Angie
I loved the layout. I changed the colors and since added the flower instead of the snowflake. This is the first card I used my cuttlebug embossing folders. I tried to run the whole card through, but I had the pattern missing on about 1/4″ on top and one side. So I cut it down and made the card base black. I sponged the embossed swirls with Bashful blue ink.
The paper is from my new Phoebe Grey paper pack. I am having a lot of fun with that one.
I stamped the Doodle This flower in Black stazon and colored it with Pretty in pink and Really Rust. I would have never picked that color combo. But I had to tie the rust from the papers in a bit. I then added a black layer around the flower. The Saying is from Just Sayings of the Spring mini catalog from Stampin’ Up!

It looks terrific…I love all that Phoebe paper! (I made a bella card today with it and just drooled…I will have to go back to that LSS and buy more!)
The card is juicy. That is my word of the day. I want a cuttlebug..well I think I want a big shot..and Joann’s had a sale, but the coupon can’t be used on die cut machines. Horrible rules. I love the layout of the card..and the color choices really pop!

Oh, this is really pretty! I LOVE the colors! Aren’t those embossing folders so much fun! I want to figure out how to make a whole card have the embossed front, too, even if I have to cut the card down a bit. When I run a whole one through, the back of the card still gets dents and lines I don’t want it to have. Oh well, even with it trimmed and layered, those embossed backgrounds are gorgeous! Love your card!
