Girls…I can’t believe I hit 60,000 already. I am having a small candy for you to celebrate! Bigger candy will be handed out once I hit 75,000.

For me, I think it is Faux Stitching and Paper piercing. I am addicted to poking holes!!! LOL
My favorite technique..OH MY..I have to think about this one, I love trying out new techniques, I guess I would have to say sponging would be my favorite, as I sponge on most everything, that and coloring with my ink pads and aqua painter. I swear I have the watercolor pencils, the watercolor crayons, prismas, twinkling H2O’s, pearl-ex and just about every other coloring medium and I still go back to my trusty aqua painter and ink pads, craft ones are my favorite for coloring with now, as the colors are so much bolder! I keep telling myself to use other mediums and still I go back to my favorites!
Those punches look so pretty all stacked up! I think my favorite technique is watercoloring. I don’t think I’m very good at it, but every time I do it I get great big oohs and ahhs!
I love to faux stitch and paper pierce also. I seem to have to sponge chocolate chip on the edges of everything too. I’m not sure if that is considered a technique, but, it is very addictive. Almost as much as poking holes!

My favorite technique would have to be cracked glass. I just love the way it looks although i burnt a hole in my couch doing it!
Hmmm…is using pastels a technique? I just learned how to stamp in versamark and then brush pastels over it with a cotton ball. Ends up with very pretty colours!

P.S. The Sandy Claws, I think is a play on “Santa Claus” and the “Pinch to grow an inch” is used on birthdays for little kids.

I would say that embossing is a big one. Either heat embossing or dry embossing on
my Cuttlebug.

I think my favorite technique would have to be white crayon resist. I love the endless color combinations and no two designs ever turn out the same. Paper piercing has got to be a close second - I have to stop myself from making too many holes sometimes! (PS: a “pinch to grow an inch” is a very common birthday wish in Canada; “Sandy Claws” just makes me think “Santa Claus” but what seashells and sand would have to do with him leaves me puzzled.
Hey Beate…you are a wild woman…hee hee! My fav technique is probably paper piercing too…I like to thread various items through it like metallic threads, raffia, yarn, etc. as well!
Well I haven’t tried many techniques yet but I really like sponging the edges of my paper, stamping backgrounds with versamark for that subtle touch, and using my new edge distresser. I need to get a new heat gun so I can start trying embossing. Guess I’ll just add it to the (already long) list?!

I think my favorite technique right now is distressing. I have the sanding block and the distressing ink pads and am sanding and sponging away. I think I need a lot of practice on this technique though!!

My favourite technique is watercolouring, whether is be with ink and blender pens or WWC and aquapainter. I love to colour.
Well–the technique I am learning is using gambsol with colored pencils. I am just waiting for a little free time to try it out. I love how it looks when other people use it.
I do love the triangle card though–I have big plans for that style.

GREAT CANDY!!! (Can you tell I don’t have any of the scallop punches???) I think my fave technique would be watercolour. Whether it’s using chalks and blender pens, inks and aqua painters, or (my fave) the Watercolor Wonder Crayons, I seem to use this technique the most.

I love using Sakura glaze pens to give my projects some dimension. Fun!
My favorite technique is to emboss on white cardstock with clear embossing powder and then sponge over the embossing with all different colors so that the embossing pops. I’m sure this technique has a name - I just don’t know what it is.
I vote for paper piercing but I also like paper piecing.

There are so many techniques I enjoy, my favorite, I would have to say is Diamond Dust (I think that’s what it’s called) where you embossing an entire image with dazzling diamonds EP. I love it! My favorite technique is an oldie but a goodie — embossing. I emboss EVERYTHING! I especially love using the detail embossing powder in silver. FUN!
my favorite technique is paper piercing. I love how it gives you a little accent or embellishment without going over the top.
I still love the way heat embossing looks and just “pops” the image.
I really like the crayon resist technique. It really changes the way a stamp set looks. I was making swap cards using the technique in a hospital ICU waiting room after my mom’s lung transplant when I met one of my best customers, she couldn’t believe how easy it was. I love your blog!

WOW, you are busy here today! LOL!!! I like to sponge around a colored image (the edges of the paper). I tend to do this more than anything else. I also really love my edge distresser. Makes a mess but the look is awesome.

I don’t know the name of my technique but I like using a baby wipe (after it’s dried) to make my own “ink pad” with re-inkers to use several colors in my image (I use this technique instead of markers because I have no markers).
Hmmmm, my favorite technique is sponging. I love the softness the technique lends to the finished card.
My favorite techniques would have to be paper embroidery, spirelli and paper pricking. I can’t wait to find some of those scallop punches available in my area.
I’d have to say that my favorite technique would be anything involving the heat gun (did you know that it makes great roasted marshmallows?!)
However, I probably use my paper piercer more than any other tool, so I’d say faux stitching for my most used technique.

I so go in spurts. Lately it’s been dry embossing though, I’ve been cheating a little with my cuttlebug folders, but still I really like the deimension dry embossing adds to cards! I am new to stamping but so far my favorite technique has been using watercolor crayons. Watercolor wash, and wet watercolor crayons are a lot of fun. I also learned crayon resist last night and love the look….I am new so I love it all! LOL

Oh that is me me please I am in love with these punchies, I keep having to borrow my MIL’s circle scallop punch, but you try trying to find a slightly smaller regular circle to fit inside in the UK!!!! I had to get somebody on UKScrappers who has a cricut to specially cut me some!! he he I love watercolouring and paper piercing and so need to get hold of the SU Mat Pack to help me with that
My favorite technique is always the one that I just saw on someone’s fantastic card but that I haven’t yet tried!
My favorite technique is to color. Is that really a technique? I love to color with the markers mostly. Coloring is a great stress reliever for me. I just find it so relaxing!
I was at Michaels today intending to buy a scalloped punch of some sort with my 40% off coupon. Low and behold they had the crop-i-dile! I was more excited about that considering I have two young children and refrain from eyelets because of the noise it makes. I can’t wait to dig into my eyelet stash tonight. I would have to say that my favorite technique would be watercoloring with the wonder crayons.
I love the cards that are displayed using these punches. They just add alot to them. I am just finishing up 4 of the large file folder photo albums they demonstrated at the Houston Regional. they are such nice gifts. I made one for my niece and nephew to highlight their trip to my home in Texas and they loved them. Thanks again for all of the ideas you share with us!!!

I paper pierce just about everything, but I like flipping it over so the rough edge is up. Then, I rub whisper white classic ink over top the circles to distress them and make them stand out a bit more.

Congrats on 60K! Neat blog candy - and with actual candy in it too
It’s so hard to pick one favourite technique. I once tried doing Acetate and Tissue and I really liked that. The one I use most often is sponging, but I also love my Twinklings. Really I just like trying new things all the time and I’m not at the point yet where I have run out of new things to try.
Those punched pieces look like candy! Such pretty colors. Well, my favorite technique at the moment is using punches, mainly corner punches, as borders. Take off the edge guards (or whatever they are called) and punch along the edge of a piece of cardstock - makes some pretty borders!
Right now my favorite technique is using my aquapainter with my sparkly new H2O’s — so pretty!
What fun blog candy! I would have to say that at the moment, my favorite technique is watercoloring. I am trying to learn to shade better.

What an awesome give away! I haven’t been able to get my mitts on any of those punches yet, so I would LOVE to get those.
Anyway, As for Favortie techniques, well if favorite means most used, then I love to watercolor, second is a toss up, I use faux stitching, on a lot of things, I love masking, and bleaching, although hard on your stamps, a totally cool outcome!

I’m just learning to use the watercolour crayons so I’d have to say it’s my fave technique right now! Although I wouldn’t say I’m very good…lol
Favorite technique would be watercoloring. I just love coloring and have since I was a kid. Something so relaxing and calming about it and the finish product is always pleasing.

My favorite technique is Faux Stitching too! I love to make all sorts of stitches with my white gel pen! Thanks for sharing the Crayon Resist today, it’s nice to try an old technique again!

Wonderful blog! Would LOVE to own some punches!! I’m fairly new at stamping but thus far I have used heat embossing,(would love some dry embossing folders too), paper piercing (finally!)and sponging. I like it all and yet have so MUCH to learn. Thank you for your generous offer Beate!!
My most used would probably be paper piercing, but my favorite is speckling.
Love the blog candy!! Right now, I seem to be using a lot of the prismas and Gamsol. I still need to work on the shading, but it is still fun.

WOW 60,000 already! That’s wonderful! Thanks for offering the great blog candy again! My favorite technique is watercoloring. I have been using my WC wonder crayons so much recently, I am addicted! Congrats!
Oh my goodness, that’s a really tough one. At the moment, I’m into making the scalloped edges with the slit punch, but perhaps sponging comes a close second, because it’s easy, looks classy, and it’s quick. Watercolouring is up there too, because it looks so good, and I love colouring in!
My favorite technique is watercoloring by coloring the stamps with the watercolor crayons.

My favourite technique changes everytime I learn something new. I just did Polished Stone so it is my current favourite. One of the things I love about stamping is that there is always something new and wonderful, and that there are always people willing to share inspiration and ideas!

My fave technique is probably……um…..man it is so hard to just pick a favorite…. okay my favorite is “flicking” - you know that whole “flicking” the edges of the cardstock on the top of an ink pad…does that qualify as a technique? Well for me it does because I do it ALOT! LOL! tee hee hee
