Sparkly Night Flowers
When I was playing with the Black Faux Linen background yesterday, I stamped two panels. One with just the VersaMagic Dew drop ink, one with the flowers stamped in the same ink, but embossed with Iridescent Ice. The one without all the glitter seemed more appropriate for the white based card, so I used that.
But I couldn’t just throw that second panel away, right?
So here is what I did with this panel. Like I said, I stamped the Petal Print flowers with Aloe Vera and Sea Breeze VersaMagic Dew Drops and then embossed them with Iridescent Ice. The ink is kind of like the Chalk ink Stampin’ UP! used to sell. It’s a chalk ink that you can use on wood, leather, coated and uncoated paper.
I then mounted the 3″ x 4 1/4″ panel on a black panel 1/4″ bigger. The card base is Cool Caribbean cardstock stamped with Paisley in Cool Caribbean and sponged around the edges. I added a splash of Certainly Celery cardstock to make the green of the leaves stand out more. The Celery cardstock is stamped with the leaves of the Petal Prints set and also sponged around the edges.
The ribbon is from Starlit Studio and oh so gorgeous.
For the Tag I stamped Sparkle on white cardstock, ran it through my xyron, added iridescent ice and embossed it. I punched it out with my small oval punch from Stampin’ Up!. It is layered on a piece of certainly celery, that was stamped just like the bigger celery cardstock piece and punched out with the big oval punch. It is attached with silver cord to the Starlitstudio ribbon.
