I am a ribbon addict and I love every yard I own!
First let me wish you all a Happy Easter. It’s cold here and we did our Easter egg hunt inside. Then we watched some old home videos and reminisced and laughed about the times my kids were toddlers. Now the kids are all out playing.
I love May Arts ribbon. Love it, love it, LOVE it. I had to order more. I couldn’t help myself. Here is my newest order from Cindy Lyles store, Starlitstudio. Cindy is soooo sweet and she sends everything super fast. You know how it is when you order new STUFF. You want it right away, right? Cindy is your girl for super fast quick FIXES. LOL
Can you believe I didn’t have Stickles yet? I can hardly believe it myself. For starters I just ordered 4 bottles. For those of you who have some, what is your favorite besides the clear? What colors should be on my next Cindy order?
Yes, I know…I probably buy too much on craft stuff. I do have some shopaholic tendencies. But I can’t stop! There are so many great products out there. Right now I am drooling about Copic Markers. I have to save up for those big time. (We just bought tickets for Germany! Ouch!)But they are so pretty. I wonder if they smell good too. LOL I love my Stazon and E6000!

You’re so funny! I just bought some stickles for a friend’s birthday invitations for her kiddos. I used fruit punch, lime green, and turquoise. Loved it! I want to try some of the clear. I’d love to see your stampin space and how you organize your stash.

Oh, that all looks fabulous!! May Arts ribbon is divine, just SO pretty! Love the Stickles you got too, so far I have only gotten the clear! I’m too chicken to get colors! LOL
Glad you had a Happy Easter, and I hope you have a wonderful week as well!

Wow - that ribbon looks wonderful! Stickles are great, too, and I love the clear (Stardust) as well as Buttercup, Eucalyptus, Waterfall, Fruit Punch and Lavender. Night Sky looks pretty cool but I don’t have that one yet. I also found some glitter glue in the kids section of Hobby Lobby the other day that works really well, almost like Stickles and really inexpensive - 6/$2.99! They are pastels, come in a tube and have a fine tip on them.

Fun stuff you have there. I can not wait to see what you do with them. I love Stickles (except the dry wait time). A couple hint I have to share are…They warp glossy paper if you cover a big area and sometimes they clog. If you get clogged, squeezing hard will clear it, but you need to do that away from your project. I had a stickle explosion all over a Bella the other day.
I swear by the crystal stickles (cuz I just love pink) and the black is spectacular!!!
Oh, I am excited to see what you make!

All of that ribbon is divine! I’m jealous!! I love Stickles, too. My latest favorite is the Waterfall blue - it is so beautiful! Looks great on top of SU!s bashful blue. Have fun and I can’t wait to see what you make next!!
Happy early Birthday!!

Hi Beate! Happy Easter! I’m exhausted and just got the chance to sit down at my computer after entertaining 20 people. Whew. Anyways, love the goodies! You and I would have a amazing time shopping together…I’m a shopaholic too! My favorite stickles are StarDust and Fruit Punch. The Fruit Punch is kinda like a corally-pink. Luscious! The Star Dust is clear sparkly. Can’t wait to see a project using all your new stuff!

I really like the gold and purple stickles. They seem to go with everything I stamp. I’m thinking of getting a red or green one next.

Can’t wait to see what wonderful things you are going to do this with bunch of goodies!!

Love, love stickles! After my last scrapbook weekend I now have all stickles colors (I too am an addict when I find something I love). The colors I use most are Fruit Punch (a pink with gold glitter) and Yellow. The fruit punch is great to accent flowers or add a touch to Bellas. The yellow is nice for centers on primas. The yellow stays bright when it dries and adds a sparkle to your primas. Have fun getting creative!

Ooooh, gorgeous goodies. I must get some more stickles, I only have icicles. Can’t wait to see what you use these for!

Love all that gorgeous ribbon! Cindy’s store IS awesome and she does ship super fast! Two of my favorite stickle colors are Waterfull (a soft baby blue) and Fruit Punch (a jazzed up pink). I know that I used both of these colors on an altered band-aid tin in my gallery at SCS.

Beate,
Are you using the Stickles as glue or paint?

Dear Beate,
Happy Easter AND Happy Birthday. It was cold here for Easter, too. Bright and sunny but only about 20F degrees. We ALWAYS hunt for eggs indoors! They don’t freeze well. Your cake looks yummy. I made angel cake for Easter strawberry dessert. It does get warm enough here in July to pick the berries. A relative gave me a BOXLOAD (big) of sewing trims including skinny rick-rak. About 20 different colors. THIN (rick-rak) is in. Ribbon HEAVEN! Ahhhh, lorijane from still-freezing-cold WISCONSIN.

Beate! You’ve got to try the black stickles! it has great bling and looks great on white paper (on the edges of flowers, etc) and looks WOW on black also!

Oh, yummy ribbon (I’m going ribbon shopping today, yay!). Where do you store all your huge rolls of ribbon, B?

I too love ribbons. They add just the right touch to cards to give it that little something extra special.
P.S. Can I go to Germany with you?????PLEASE
