Cards for the troops
Dawn Griffith is a fellow SCS member, a guest tutorial writer for SCS as well as a sweet blogging friend of mine. Her husband recently went to Iraq for a year. After receiving so many birthday cards I was wondering if I should send them to the troops. Then I saw that Dawn is organizing something like that. So that’s where I will send all your gorgeous birthday cards to, after I changed them back into blank cards.
Let me know if you rather not have your card being recycled.
If you have swap cards that could be recycled or you have extra cards laying around, consider sending them to Dawn so they can brighten someone else’s day!

Your kindness and willing to share is a beautiful example for us all. I would like to know how you make them blank again? I imagine that you put a piece of plain cardstock over the sentiment and signature, but I don’t know for sure. You’re such a genius, TFS.

Beate,
I gave Dawn a set of 10 cards from the stamp-a-stack class she had last Friday. Let me tell you, it felt so great to give something like that to such a great cause for people I personally have known for the past 5 years.
