Hi guys! Sorry I haven’t posted the last two days. After this weekend, I was sore and got a cold to boot! My throat is getting better, but I am still coughing a lot morning and night. The new room is a bit throwing me off. I think I moved my mojo and I just can’t find it. Or it could be, that I am just too distracted by the sunshine and 80+ degrees outside. I have to admit I have been laying out and just reading books in the afternoon.

I thought I show you my new space instead of stamping…that I didn’t do!

I got these cabinets at Home Depot. They are pretty cheap and they have doors to hide all my goodies! The pictures on the doors of the cabinets are made by Rebecca. She loves to draw.

The paper storage is from Office Depot. I store my scraps in a file folder on top of the my full sheets.

The ink pad storage system is Dzyntec. This wonderful storage system is no longer sold. It holds Pads, Markers, Daubers, sponges and refill all in one clear acrylic holder!

If you are curious what’s inside the cabinets, click on more.

The first cabinet holds most of my current stamps. Yes, I have a lot of stamps….amd after the retirement list came out this morning, I have over 130 that are about to get the axe. I usually sell my retired sets. I will do so again this year after June 30th. I know for sure I will keep Finest Flourishes and Petal Prints. I am still in shock that those, as well as Mixed Bouquet were on that list.

The bookshelf is next to the tables. It holds all my craft inks, my Stampin’ Up! ribbons and my cuttlebug.

This is where I spend the last two afternoons! It’s gorgeous outside for the last 4 days. Rebecca took my spot after she came home from school.

  7. Hi, not my first visit, but my first comment. I was wondering what you use to store your ink pads. Are they those Dyzntec caddies that you can’t get anymore???

  8. Aside from your to die for room/collection, I find myself more jealous at the lounge chair and bathing suits. I am not sure if that will ever happen where I live~LOL!
No wonder you are sore. I would be broken for days after moving all that stuff! I am sure once you get the “feel”for the room, you will get back your steam.

  12. All I can say is WOW – what a wonderful room!! I’m taking a break at the moment from cleaning my own room – but now I want to remodel it, not just clean it! 🙂 TFS!

  13. Oh wow!! This is an awesome stamping space!! I wanna come over and play!!

  14. Ahh, I see we DO share some of that German organizational blood! Great room — love those HD storage cabinets, might have to get some of those when I move next. Beautiful backyard, too!

  15. What an awesome space!!!!!!

  16. Gorgeous room!! I am in the club with you and Dawn. I have at last count, 133. Same as Dawn. However, this is just a glance. UGH! I wasn’t surprised. 🙂
You will get your mojo back. How about a challenge tomorrow? I think we need one.

  17. My stamping room looks almost exactly like that… and then, I wake up!

This is the first time since 2001 that I haven’t had a mourning period after the retired list is published. Well, yes, that does have something to do with me no longer being a demo. I just needed that little something positive since I’ve been bummed about my lack of stamping social life lately.

As for your Mojo – did you tell it you were just moving your stamping stuff to another room? If not, it probably got scared and is hiding under something in the other room.

  18. Wow! Both your stamp room and your lounge chair look like awesome places to hang out. Hope you’re feeling better soon!

  19. I wanna come play in YOUR stamp room!! Hmmm..may have to plan a trip to Florida next winter!! I’ll probably want to escape the cold rain here anyway, right?? 😉

Hope you are feeling better…the sun will certainly help (and a few chocolates won’t hurt)! Enjoy it!!

    Huggs,
    Jana

  20. Wow, I am so jealous, what a fabulous room, I am stuck in the smallest bedroom which is about the size of your table, lol. I would love to come and play in that room 🙂
Your garden looks so cool and inviting too.
I hope you are feeling better really soon, I’m sorry you’re feeling so awful, must have been all the germs hiding that ran out when you moved them!

  21. Thanks for sharing, I’m inspired to go organize now!

  22. Glad to hear that you are okay! I knew something was up! LOVE the space..but I know what you are talking about moving things around..i cleaned my stamping space and seem to have lost my motivation! Hope it turns up!

  23. Wow, how nicely organized! Very, very nice! I wish I could get up to my craft room. “Part” of my craft room is in the back part of our kitchen since I can longer get up to the 3rd floor with the girls! Our next house may be a ranch! 🙂

  24. WOW! I’m so jealous.. you are so very organized! Your room is great!

  25. Beate, Thanks for sharing your stamping space with us. I’m moving to a different house, and it’s always great to see what other ladies do for their space.

  26. OMgosh!! I love your space!! Thanks for sharing it with us, and I hope you’re feeling better real soon!!

  27. Love your stamp room. Where did you get your storage for ink pads? Im trying to find a better storage solutions for mine.

  28. What a great room! I love the HD cabinets!
What great weather you are having! It’s raining here and will be all week. No outside time for me.

  29. OMGoodness! Your space is SO much cooler than mine! Say, you live pretty close, right!?! Just kidding…kinda. LOL Anyways, I wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful RAK that I received yesterday in the mail! I love it, and the images are great! Hugs!

  30. I wanna come play at your house! You look like my mom’s house, lot of supplies! You and my mom should get together, along with me, now THAT would be fun..hehehe! I am coming to Florida in June..LOL!

  31. Love your room!! I’m still working on mine!! I’m a packrat, and can’t seem to throw anything away!!

Where did you get the ink pad storage? I love how your refills are stored underneath!!

  32. You are a girl after my own heart — I LOVE LOVE LOVE your organization. Thanks for sharing.

Which brings me to wonder how YOU handle the SU retired sets. Do you sell them after the new catalog comes out; holding on to only the ones you love?

Hope you are feeling better. If not — more time in the sun for your!

    /p

  33. Love looking at stamping rooms. I have a corner of a room but manage to mess it up just the same since I cram most of my things nearby except for all the stamp sets. I have at least 110 sets on the lit and 27 wheels. Just shocked at some that are leaving as well as some that remain. Holding on to my Mixed Bouquet – I just love working with this set. I’m not a demo but am still mourning. 😀

    Get well, keep well!

  34. this is the most gorgeous and organized studio i’ve ever seen!! i aspire to have something like this…*someday* =) nicely done!!

  35. Wow – just wow!

  36. I so want your craft space (and your talent)! Great room!

    Linda

  37. I love how all your supplies are hidden away and you can’t see them. That is a great idea. Thanks for sharing your lovely room.

  38. I noticed you switched to the same blog template I am using (craftdoc.com). Let me know if you figure out how to make long posts – seems like it messes up if you put in too many pictures. Otherwise I love this template – it is really sharp! Love your stamp room too!

  39. M A R V E L O U S SPACE!!! So is the OUTSIDE, LOL. TFS.

I have a question…We had a friend that went to Florida and fell asleep in a lawnchair outside. Some neighbors came to wake him up and told him he should not sleep outside because alligators roam the yards.
I don’t know what part he was in, but I NEVER forgot that story. Can you check with someone about that so that I know all of your family is safe??

  40. oh my Beate-what fun!!!
    Your new room loosk AMAZING!!!

  41. Beate, your Mojo called….it wants to let loose in that new stampin’ spot. I’ll be checking you out tomorrow, girlfriend. {{{hugs}}} Hope you feel better soon!

  42. What an incredible space you have to work in! Love your organization, wanna come over? Love your last shot, I have a lounger too, right outside my bedroom door, where I sit with my latte. Selfishly I’m glad you are back at it (cardin’ that is).

  43. It looks great! HUGS, and hope all that snot is gone soon!

  44. OMG Beate I am sooooooooo jealous of your organized room…and everything has a place…Do you have your sets alphabetized or by theme? How many did you lose in the retirement? I lost about 145. I am going to try what Christina Crawford does every year….a silent auction…maybe I can at least sell off the ones I really don’t need. Sad to see Watercolor Garden and Roses in Winter…glad they are making room for more word sets…Thanks for sharing the pictures of your room….makes me want to redo mine now.

  45. OOH! Can I trade ya???? I love it! I am SO coming for a visit!!!

  46. OK, I hope you have really good insurance. I think you may have to up your homeowners just to cover the cost of all of those stamps! HA! What a great space. I am waiting for people to post architects renderings on stamping space additions! Now THAT would be a great HGTV show!

  47. Wow!!!! What a great studio!! You did a lovely job on it, Beate! I’m impressed!

  48. LOVE the stamp room! i’m sure you will find your mojo in one of those stamp cabinets filled with all those goodies! I think I’m further south than you, but i am NOT enjoying this 80+ degree weather … i like it cooler. I’ve lived here all my life and i still can’t get used to the sticky heat. hee. glad you’re enjoying it! 🙂

  49. Gorgeous room!!! If you weren’t so generous with your talent and tutorials, I’d be Glorious Green with envy! Instead, I’m just really happy for you and excited to see all the new things you’ll be able to create in such an awesome space.

  50. wholly buckets….do you need someone to come stamp with you? [me}….

    Wow…

    I love the “white” look….

  51. This room is to die for! My husband built me a craft table
spanning an 8 foot wall with shelves above it, but I am still
lacking in the organizational features you have. Thanks for
some wonderful ideas of how to use my space productively. Wow!

  52. I love your stamping room. I have been redoing mine and for the most part am plesed but would like to have a little more room. Hope you start feeling better soon!

  53. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, this is exactly what I must do, Beate! I must move out DD’s & DS’s desks & make room for cabinets! (Hey! The “nest” emptied, but they didn’t take all of their stuff!) Wanna come help me make a couple of Home Depot runs? C’mon!

  54. Hello from Spain. Can I buy the boxes for storage my staps? similar that your photograph??? I can buy to USA with internet ;-).

    Thanks!!!
