Fun in the Sun
Okay…so I didn’t stamp yesterday! Instead we went to the beach. Yes, again!!! We love the beaches here and go there every chance we get. With We, I mean Rick, Rebecca and me. The boys grumble everytime we utter the word, but we drag them with us nevertheless. As soon as we are there, they start digging and having fun!
We found a pretty good size hole already dug when we got there. Austin and Lucas immediately went to work and made it bigger…..much bigger. Then they started burying themselves in it and kept bugging Rick and me until we helped. I love this shot. Rick had to ham it up for the camera. A trade all my kids inherited! I love this shot of Austin. He looks like a teenager. Another 6 month and we can officially call him that.
Rebecca was buried there as well, but I don’t want to tease (or bore) you with too many of my beach shots. I took a bunch of shots with her in the water. Unfortunately she saw me taking the pictures and “hammed it up” for every shot. Oh well…
It is raining here, so it is nice to see that someone out there is enjoying nice sandy beaches and warm weather! What a cute family you have
Great photos - I SO miss the beach! Maybe one day we can move back to Florida, perhaps the west coast of it this time. The water is so much clearer and the sand whiter - *sigh*.
Love your pictures….it looks like too much fun! I miss that beautiful white sand at the beaches in Florida. We were down last October, and the only beach we saw was Typhoon Lagoon.
Next time we come…we’d better take some time to get to the real beach.
Oh, I’m jealous of your beaches! We were in Florida last November, and just the thought of the weather and the beaches can get you through a cold Canadian winter! I really enjoy your blog, Beate. I read every day, and am usually very inspired by your artwork. I think I have become a better stamper over the last couple of months just by letting myself be inspired by someone else (yup, that’s you!)
Looks like a fun day at the beach! I’ll have to post a few of my Italy pictures so I won’t feel so deprived!!
Gotta plan a trip to the beach over in the Netherlands soon though!

I never get bored with photos, I LOVE them. These are GREAT shots!! I hate the heat because I start sweating at 50F. my internal thermostat is broken, LOL. But, I love to see the water and people having fun in it and the sand. TFS.

I’d pack my suitcase and show up on your doorstep so I could go to that beach, but I’d look like a beached beluga whale next to you so my pride prevents me from following thru on that threat.
Great days great days! Everyone seems to have had a great time! I totally understand the beach NEED! Last week it was perfect..this week..we have the jeans and long sleeves out again! OH well!!! Enjoy your monday!

Wow!! What a gorgeous family you have! Oh.. I would love a day at the beach! Our beach on Lake Erie is just awful. I’ve lived here my whole life and maybe gone twice!!

LOVE the beaches there in FL! We were stationed at Keesler in MS and hated the beach there, so we would drive out to FL to get our fix! LOL! Now we are headed to the land-locked Nebraska. It’ll be our first time without a beach in 8 years!
