I love the little Prego gal (2-3085C) from A Muse. She is just too adorable. I stamped her on Shimmery white cardstock with black Palette ink and colored her skin and hair with aqua painter and classic inks. I stamped her again on POP designer paper and paper pieced her dress. I punched the image out with the large oval punch from Stampin’ Up! and cut closely around it with my decorative scissors.

The card base is again a 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ piece of cardstock folded in half. I am stuck on 4 1/4″ square cards at the moment. The patterned paper on the top and middle is from the Gypsy BasicGrey paper pad, the bottom piece is from the POP designer paper pack Stampin’ Up! sells this month.

I stamped congrats from Amazing to Zany on whisper white cardstock and punched it out with the Window Word Punch. The faux stitching lines are stamped in black with a stamp from the set  All In A Row.

This is not how I wanted to end the story of our cute (okay…they weren’t the cutest chicks yet, but they didn’t really have a chance to grow into their beaks) little baby birds. Look at them….They were already a bit stronger and cuter then the last picture I posted and were able to hold up their heads and open their beaks.

This morning the plant looked different. A lot of leaves were on the ground under it and there were big holes in the vines. No Momma bird was to be seen. I checked inside…I can’t really see because it’s so high up and I didn’t want to photograph what I am sure is in there now. Something came in the night and killed the sweet little birds. Nature is cruel sometimes. So I am sitting here all bummed dreading to tell the kids.

Cindy is an amazing stamper, a wonderful person and a great friend. She is the one, that I get all my gorgeous ribbon from. Cindy send me this card with her last order. Isn’t it beautiful?
