Challenge # 6 was posted tonight. It’s time for some heat embossing! Haven’t done that in a while.

“We are already half-way to A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA!  Sooo, it’s time to heat things up!  Dust off your heat tool, this week your challenge is to use heat embossing on your design!  You may use your choice of ink, papers, colors, stamps (please use at least one A Muse stamp if possible), embellishments, etc.  If you do not have a heat embossing tool, you may use glaze pens or glaze glue (for a faux embossed look) or dry embossing instead. 

This week, the winner will receive:
·  Purrr-fect clear stamp set
·  Marvy Super 2” circle punch (button-style)”

I stamped a little bit today. I had to use those new A Muse stamps. They were begging to be used. So after Rebecca stamped a whole picture with it, it was my turn. I chose a real simple layout and POP designer paper.

Of course I had to use my  All in a Row stamp set again. I just can’t help myself.

The card base is a 4 1/4″ x 8  1/2″ piece of whisper white cardstock folded in half. On top of that is a 4″ square of Rose Red Palette O’ Prints paper. The green strip is 1″ x 4″ layered on a 1 3/8″ x 4″ white strip.

The flower is stamped on whisper white in Black Palette ink and colored with Rose Red and Certainly Celery ink pads and aqua painter.  I used my decorative scissors to make the scallop border around it.

Now…I have been patient. But it’s after 3 p.m. and Mr. Brown still didn’t bring my preordered items. Where the heck is my UPS man. No cookies for him!

I just can’t catch up. Sorry, I am so late with picking a winner for last weekends sketch challenge. Thank you all for participating in the challenge. I was floored to get 96 entries. All of the cards were amazing!!!!

…yesterday. I was mainly working on writing down who wants what stamp sets and packing them up already so they will be ready, when I come back.
I did stamp, but only a card I had made before. I made twenty of these babies:

Except I put Stampin’ Fun for everyone in the circle. I made them as thank you notes for stampers, that purchase my retired sets. I already wrote them and packed them up. I only have one left. I need to stamp some more.

With all the packed up priority boxes waiting to be send, my house looks quite a bit like a post office. LOL

Aren’t those the cutest stamps? I knew I needed a cow for my barn, birds for my bird cage….and some A Muse Sayings. I went a bit wild in the store. I just love these darling images. You can find them at the A Muse website.
