Quick A Muse card
I stamped a little bit today. I had to use those new A Muse stamps. They were begging to be used. So after Rebecca stamped a whole picture with it, it was my turn. I chose a real simple layout and POP designer paper.
Of course I had to use my All in a Row stamp set again. I just can’t help myself.
The card base is a 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ piece of whisper white cardstock folded in half. On top of that is a 4″ square of Rose Red Palette O’ Prints paper. The green strip is 1″ x 4″ layered on a 1 3/8″ x 4″ white strip.
The flower is stamped on whisper white in Black Palette ink and colored with Rose Red and Certainly Celery ink pads and aqua painter. I used my decorative scissors to make the scallop border around it.
Now…I have been patient. But it’s after 3 p.m. and Mr. Brown still didn’t bring my preordered items. Where the heck is my UPS man. No cookies for him!

I love this card! That paper is just the best and the way you do your own scalloped mats for you sentiments is fabulous! I need to get that paper out and use it some more because it really dresses up a card. I am anxiously waiting my pre-order stuff, but haven’t even gotten a shipping email yet, boo hoo. Oh well, it is fun to anticipate something coming in the mail! Thanks for the inspiration!

I have been playing with that decorative scissors scallop technique - it is very nifty and effective!

This is very beautiful with the POP paper! That is such a pretty little flower image, and I love the All in a Row stamped on the green. (I just pulled out my All in a Row, so I can try some of your faux stitching.)

So sweet Beate! You’ve inspired me to keep All In a Row out on my desk all the time now (like I already do with Itty Bitty Backgrounds).
