I Like Zoofari: Constipated Birds

I know a lot of people don’t like this set and making fun  of the image. I  like it.  The images make me smile! I think we will be able to use it to make funky cards. Here is a  card I made to send with Shannan’s Zoofari images.

This is a quick 3×3 warm up card, like Val’s warm up cards. But since I made this day before last around midnight, I call it a “Cool Down Card”.

The base is a 3″ x 6″ piece of Purely Pomgranate. On top I added 1 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ piece of Palette O’ Prints Designer paper. I used the ticket punch on the bottom corners. Next I added a thin strip of Shimmery White cardstock on the top of the POP pager. The Birds are stamped in Black Palette ink on Shimmery white. I colored the shadow around the birds and the sky with Sea Breeze. It’s very hard to see in this photo. The Birds are colored with So Saffron and the ground with River Rock ink. I adhered the circle to chocolate chip cardstock and cut around it with my decorative scissors.

The tiny flower is punched out of the River Rock Cardstock with the new punch from the punch box and sponged with River Rock ink. I added a Vintage brad in the center and little white dots with gel pen on the outside.

The word Sweet is from the sentiment “Sweet Little One” in the new Holidays & Wishes Set.

Super cute Beate! I ordered this set too…just makes me smile! I think the birds look like they’re bopping up and down dancing.

Love your color choices and layout! Your coloring is just beautiful too!
