Litte Monkey hanging from a tree
Today is a long travel day for the kids and me. We will arrive in Germany Tuesday morning. That’s the hardest part of this trip. Staying up all day on the second travel day. I usually take a nap and it totally messes me up. I will try not to do that this time.
This card is another little 3″ x 3″ warm up card. I stamped the little monkey and drew a vine to make him hang from it.
I love this size. It’s great to use up some scrap paper. The card base is 3″ x 6″ of white cardstock folded in half. On top is a 2 7/8″ square of Celery POP paper, as well as a strips of saffron colored POP paper. Under the saffron strip is a small strip of shimmery white. I paper pierced the edge of it and flipped it over to show the “back side” of the paper piercing.
For the center image I stamped the monkey from Zoofari in Black Palette ink on Shimmery white cardstock. I colored him in with Aqua painter and Chocolate chip and colored the surrounding areas with certainly celery. Once it was dried, I added the vine with my black micron pen and white polka dots with my white gel pen.
I like how it turned out.
