One of my cards I send in was a round card. This will be the sample for this weeks sketch challenge.  I haven’t figured out how to make circular sketches with Adobe Photoshop yet, so my sample will have to do.

I made the card base out of Bashful Blue cardstock and with my Coluzzle. I made those samples back in March, so I can’t really remember how I cut it. Sorry!

Stamps: Amazing to Zany, Doodle This

Inks: Bashful Blue, Old Olive and Black Stazon

Paper: Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Basic Black and Whisper White

Acc.: White gel pen, Earth Element Brads, corner rounder, dimensionals, Paper piercing tools, 2Way glue, Dazzling Diamond Glitter

I can’t wait what you come up with.

Beate

  1. This is a beauty, Beate!!! What a neat sketch! Can’t wait to play! 😉

  2. What a fun challenge! Quick question – is the sketch simply a circular card and we do whatever we want on it, or is the sketch more complex with the left-hand panel, and the partial circles in the lower right side?

  3. awesome! I’ve been dying to try circular cards! (:

  4. What an awesome circle card! I wish I could play, but I don’t think I’ll be able to swing it this time. I love the scallops, sparkles, brads, and the colors you chose.

  5. Thanks for another fun challenge, Beate! Here’s my try:

  19. This was a little challenge, until I figured out who to make a card for. I used the circle cutter from Creative Memories and that made making the card simple. thanks for having this challenge, it was great!

  20. I LOVE this card! I will be making more circle cards.. plus the coluzzle makes it really easy (coluzzle could easily be one of the best tools ever). I used some Autumn Leaves’ Stamps and the Petals and Paisley stamps and Petals paper. I hope you like my take on it! I also used little rhinestones on the birdie’s eye and the flower on the branch 🙂
