Pick a Petal One Sheet box
I made this box a little while ago for Julia Salva’s downline meeting. I wish I could have gone, but it was last weekend and I didn’t feel up to flying again after just coming back from a trip. Plus I didn’t know if Rick wouldn’t have to work. With his new job it’s hard to plan anything that I don’t take my kids with.
One Sheet box Supplies: ·
- One piece of 8 ½” x 9” Certainly Celery cardstock
- One 3 ½” square of So Saffron cardstock, scored at 2”
- One ½” x 3 scrap piece of So Saffron cardstock
- Dimensional
- Glue dots
- Mono adhesive
- Bone Folder
- Paper piercing tools
- ¾” circle punch
- Aqua painter
- Black doodle marker (I used Black Micron pen 08)
- Stamp sets: Pick a Petal, Hugs & Wishes and See you around Jumbo wheel, Three for you Punch box
- INKS: Purely Pomegranate, Black Stazon, Certainly Celery jumbo wheel cartridge and Certainly Celery Marker
Instructions ·
- Wheel your Certainly Celery cardstock with the Jumbo wheel.
- Score the 9” side of the cardstock at 3 ½” and 5 ½”
- Score the 8 ½” side of cardstock at 2 ½” and 6”.
- Fold each score both ways with your bone folder.
- Flip cardstock around so the unwheeled side is facing up.
- Put your finger next to the intersection of the scores. Now line up the short horizontal score up with the longer vertical one.
Repeat on all four corners.
- Flip over again. Stamp the triple flower from the flower punch box in Certainly Celery on the bottom of all four sides.
- Take your So Saffron 3 ½” So Saffron square, stamp the paisley Petal over the score line with Purely Pomegranate to make a flower. The 2” piece will be your front. Make sure you have over half of a petal right next to the score line on each end.
- Cut around the petals in the front.
- Take scrap piece of So Saffron and stamp the scalloped circle center twice in Pomegranate. Color both with aqua painter and Purely Pomegranate.
- Punch one of the flower centers out with the ¾” circle punch. That will be the center of your Petal flower. Adhere it with glue dots.
- Tape the uncut side of your flap with mono one of the box sides. That will be the back of your box.
- Cut your second scallop circle center out with scissors. Add a dimensional on the back of it.
- Fold your box and fold the flap over. Tape your scallop circle overlapping the Petals a bit. That will keep your box shut.
- Unfold again. Paper pierce your cardstock under the scallop circle to create a flower stem. Add Black marker faux stitching and free hand two leaves. Color those leaves in with Celery Marker.
- Stamp Birthday Hugs and wishes next to the flower. Fold your box up again and you are done!
