I am so happy
I am so happy I have all these new products. I have to admit, it was a bit daunting to pick a set and work with it.They are all so pretty. And, after punching two scallops my scallop circle it is messed up. I will have to call Stampin’ Up!
But not before I post my first card made with new merchandise. I made a joyfold card that has a different center fold part.
I started with a 5 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ Certainly Celery piece of cardstock that I scored at 4 1/4″. I layered a 3″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Certainly Celery Prints Designer paper over the flap and added a scalloped border punched with the new corner punch behind the flap.
The Black Center flap is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 2 3/4″. I layered a 2 1/2″ x 4″ piece of Groovy Guava over that. I had wheeled it with the So Swirly Jumbo Wheel in Groovy Guava and sponged the edges.
The saying is from the gorgeous new Define your Life set. I am so excited we have definition stamps. That’s soooo cool!!! I used the happy definition and stamped it in Black Stazon on Shimmery White cardstock.
Next I pulled out Priceless. I am in love with the look of this new set and can’t wait to stamp more with it. I stamped the flower twice in Purely Pomegranate and once in Groovy Guava and cut them out. I adhered them with dimensionals on top of my saying.
The closure is a Purely Pomegranate punchout with the Scallop Punch (before it locked up on me), sponged the edges, layered it with a 1 3/8″ black circle punch, which was layered with a 1 1/4″ circle of shimmery white. I had stamped Happy from It’s all Good in groovy guava before punching it out.
To finish it off I added a 1/2″ strip of black cardstock and ran the new and deliciously gorgeous double stitched Pomegranate ribbon over it.

Beate -
Beautiful!! I love the Define a Life set — I am putting it on my Christmas list because it is so expensive — but oh so cool. Bummer about your punch — hope you get it fixed soon!

You’ve done it again- another awesome card. I love this take on the Joy Fold card. I’ve made one for your challenge BUT my upline and I decided to use it for our technique club Thursday so I decided to hold off posting it- may have time to make another yet tonight to enter. Priceless was my very most favorite set from the first time through the catty. I am on pins and needles until mine gets here on Friday (ordered mine on the 2nd but couldn’t justify the extra postage in the budget)! As always, thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Beate,
So, I am assuming that the “new” corner rounder also will do the scallop edging? We could still use the old one but refer customers to the new one? Thanks for all of the great ideas!

What can I say!!! This card is the “bomb diggitty!” I’m sure I spelled that wrong…it’s what my son used to say when he really really liked something
But this card is all that and then some!! Great job. Thanks for sharing your creativity!
