Love this snail

I loved Garden Whimsy and the matching Jumbo Whimsy ever since I first layed eyed on it in the catalog. Of course it was on my first order. I had to have it!

garden-whimsy-sweet-snail-copy.jpg

I started out with a 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Always Artichoke cardstock folded in h alf. I punched the two bottom corners of my 2″ x 4″ piece of Groovy Guava cardstock with the ticket corner punch and wheeled it with white cardstock and the Jumbo Rough Around The Edges Wheel.

Since my freaking scallop circle punch gave out on me yesterday, I reverted back to using my Marvy Uchida scallop circle punch. It’s a bit bigger then the one from Stampin’ Up!. I stamped the cute, cute snail with Chocolate Chip classic ink on Shimmery White (is there any other white cardstock?) and punched it out with the 1 3/8″ circle punch. Next I cut a layer of River Rock cardstock with my coluzzle.

River Rock Double Stitched Ribbon finishes this quick card off. I have to say I like how it turned out. I will have to use that color combo again. I love this saying! So perfect to send a card to good friends!

Forgot to mention: The paper pierced trail of the snail is made with the Priceless Classy Brass. I had to have it and it’s wonderful for the paper piercing guides alone!

Julee is one lucky lady!!!

I used random.org to pick the winner of last weekend’s sketch challenge and it picked #43.

Julee T. (Shadowcatcher) Says: Thanks for another awesome challenge, Beate! These joy fold cards are fun! Here’s my card…

I am offering stamp camps for my customers for $5. When they order over $35, the camp is free. I know I am not charging a lot. But I want to keep my customers creating and having fun with their stamps.

I offer the card kits for my long distance customers for $10, which includes shipping. If they order over $50, it is free as well. Since they can’t use my stamps, I prestamp images, if they don’t own the stamps I used.

Julee strikes again

Julee Tilman sent me this beautiful bee card.

If you haven’t checked out her amazing blog Poetic Artistry yet, please go over and do so now. She is an amazing stamper!

Thank you so much Julee. I love this card. Love the color combo, love how you used the slit punch to make your scallop and used your reverse punchout as well, love the sparkles….love EVERYTHING about it. You rock!
