Make a Wish

Here is another sample made with Gina’s great new set.

I started out with a 5 1/4″ x 10 1/2″ piece of chocolate chip cardstock folded in half and adhered a 5″ square of BasicGrey Blush paper over it. The edges of that paper were stamped with the Argyle stamp from All in a Row.

I punched two corners of a 2″x 4 3/4″ piece of BasicGrey Blush paper with the ticket corner punch, wrapped gorgeous May Arts ribbon around it and taped it down on the bottom of the card.  Wishing you Joy was stamped in Brown Palette ink on the bottom right. I adhered a Chocolate Chip Star punchout with dimensionals next to the greeting.

Next I added another piece of the Blush collection on the left hand side of the card. The two photo corners were punched out the the Blush Paper with Stampin’ Up!’s new Photo corner punch. I added vintage brads to that.

The main image was stamped in Brown Palette ink on Shimmery white cardstock and colored in with Taken with Teal, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Summer Sun, More Mustard and Soft Sky and aqua painter. I punched all four corners with the ticket corner punch and layered it on a piece of Chocolate chip cardstock. I added a doodled border with my brown Micron pen and a little ribbon flag with brad on the side. Stickles Stardust glitter added a little sparkle to the image.

Stamps for a Cause!

Gina K. has done it again. After her beautiful set to help raise money for Autism, she is back in the saddle with another great set. This time she is raising money for the Make a Wish Foundation.

Gina was kind enough to ask me to make a few samples for this set. How could I say no? I was honored. Unfortunately the set wasn’t ready until it was my time to go on vacation back to San Antonio. What can a girl do?

Stamp with her friend, of course (after asking sweet Gina for permission). Jenn and I had fun playing with the set. It was dark when we got done, so the picture isn’t the best…..but here is one sample I made with the set. Hopefully I can share another soon.

Head on over to Gina’s Stamp for a Cause  page, be dazzled by her set and help her raise money for this worthy cause.

Hugs!!!

If you are in my Yahoo group, you know Kathie McGuire for her willingness to share her amazing projects with the rest of us.

Before leaving for San Antonio, Kathie was in need of some cow image. I send her several stamped images of the cow from Farm Fever.

This is the Thank you card  and a cute German postage stamp Kathie sent me in return. She thought of me when she saw the stamp. How sweet is that?
