Sparkly thanks

stem-silhouettes-quick-pome.jpg

I made this Thank you card with one of the Textured Love Notes from last month special and Stem Silhouette from this month special.

The card base is a 3″ x 6″ piece of Purely Pomegranate textured cardstock folded in half. On top I added a 1 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ piece of Holiday Harmony Designer paper. The bottom corners were punched with the corner rounder.

I wrapped Wild Wasabi double stitched ribbon around it. Thank you from the Stem Silhouettes in Black on the designer paper.

For the main image, I inked up the Flower image with Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegranate reinkers and Fantastix, stamped them on a 1 1/4″ circle and added Dazzling Diamond Glitter over it with help of  a glue pen.

I punched a 1 3/8″ circle out of Wild Wasabi, sponged the edges and layered it on a black scallop circle. I used my paper piercing tool to add little holes in the center of each scallop, taped all three layers together and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

Easy and cute, I think.

Sweet Pea

I made another card for the sketch challenge this weekend.

event-full-pea-congratulati.jpg

The card base here is a 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Bashful Blue cardstock folded in half.

The next two layers are a 4″ black square and a 3 3/4″ square piece of Petals & Paisley Designer Paper.

I used the ticket corner punch on the corners both layers and added a large black photo corner on the top right with  Saffron brads in it.

The blue horizontal layer measures 1 7/8″ x 3 3/4″ and is a piece of Cutie Pie Designer Paper. I used the open Argyle stamp from All in a Row to add faux stitching around this blue layer, as well as the Olive paper. Fairy Tale Ribbon was tied around the blue strip.

For the main image I stamped the Pea from the Hostess level 1 set Event Full on in Black Palette ink on Shimmery White cardstock and cut around it with my Coluzzle. It was colored in with Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Summer Sun and Certainly Celery Ink and Aqua Painter. I used my black Micron pen to add a small dotted border to resemble the dots on the pea pod stem.

The circle was taped on black cardstock, cut out with the next size circle with my Coluzzle compainion set (retired) and then layered on a piece of Shimmery White paper. Again I cut around it with the Coluzzle, using the same template this time, but then next bigger ring for a 1/4″ bigger piece. I then added the scallops with my corner rounder, added dimensionals on it’s back and taped it down on the main card.
