He is home!
Rick brought Austin home around 3:30 p.m.
They gave Austin Morphin after he woke up. Evidently his Adnoids were so big, they grew down into this throat. They had to cut a lot of stuff out. The doctor said he has never seen anything like it and he didn’t know how Austin was still breathing.
My poor baby is sitting on the couch now. He is so out of it and his face looks all swollen. But it’s done and the surgery went well. Now he just has to heal.
Thank you for your well wishes. I was a nervous wreck all morning. At least now see and check up on him!

Will keep you all in my prayers. I’m glad they have given Austin lots of pain killers. Don’t put pressure on yourself to do anything else but look after him right now! You’ll feel better having him home and taking care of him yourself. Hope he makes a speedy recovery and lots of hugs to him!

Oh bless his heart…when my son had his out, they were also “the biggest ones the Dr. had ever seen”…not fun! Make sure he SWALLOWS in the coming days, my son would only spit…and that’s not good. I know that sounds like lame advice, but it’s important! Best of luck in his recovery…HUGS!!
