I am not sure if I get to post something today. My Mom just called me and told me her oldest brother passed away. He was a quiet and gentle man. In times like this it’s very hard to be so far away from my family.

I am so sorry to hear about your Uncle Beate. I know what you mean about being so far away - when my Oma passed away, I was so very sad that I did not get to say goodbye. Big hugs for you girl!! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex

I am so sorry Beate for your lost. I feel the same you feel in this situations. I have my whole family living in Peru and I lost a couple of relatives in the last year, I understand you completely.

So sorry to hear about your uncle, Beate. It’s so hard to be so far away. My Mum passed suddenly 2 years ago, 6 months after my Nana- they were in New Zealand, I am in Canada. It’s not easy.
Take time for yourself, don’t worry about us. Hugs for you and your Mum too.

Your family is in my thoughts & prayers! My dear Grandmother & Dad passed within a month of each other this summer & then our beloved cat a month later.
Be comforted that he is no longer suffering! I know it can be heartbreaking to lose those that are a special part of you & your life, but I hold on to the memories that I will cherish forever & know that they are with God now & some day I will join them again!
