When I saw the first card Maria made with this BEAUTIFUL, super realistic looking rose set, I wanted it.

Here is my first card made with this set. I love how easy two step stamping is with clear stamps. Makes lining them up a breeze.

The card base is a 4 1/4″x 8 1/2″ piece of Really Rust cardstock folded in half.

The black scallop square is made with Nestabilities.

The white layer is a 3 1/2″ square of Shimmery White cardstock. The roses were stamped with

1. Layer Apricot Appeal

2. Layer Pumpkin Pie stamped off once

3. Layer Pumpkin Pie

4. Layer Real Rust

The stem and flowers were stamped with Certainly Celery and Wild Wasabi.

The ribbon is May Arts ribbon, the small scallop circle was cut with decorative scissors.

I am posting this super late (a little after midnight here). I spend all day playing video games with my kids. It’s so much fun. Who knows how much longer they want to hang out with their Mom. I treasure every minute of it. It seems that since Rick is gone, I don’t get much (stamping) done during the weekend.

Thank you so much for the wonderful response to my last minute request. You guys are the best. I will keep you updated as the cards arrive and when and how many I send off. Hopefully I will get Rick to snap some pictures of happy recipients!

Hugs and smiles

Beate

Actually, I figured if I was paying shipping and I keep thinking about it, I might as well just go for it! Thanks for the gentle push I needed to spend money! LOL!
