WSC32 winner - Elizebeth Newman

wsc32-winner-elizebeth-neumann.jpg

I am sorry I am announcing the winner of the last sketch challenge a little bit late.

I forgot about. Sorry!

Random.org picked entry #34. That’s Elizebeth Newman.

I am very excited about that. Elizebeth has been participating in the sketch challenges for a long time!

She always makes wonderful samples. You can see more of her gorgeous work on her blog ebethonline.

Thank you to all of you who tried out the sketch! You came up with amazing samples.

Hugs and smiles

Tutorial on SCS - Sour Cream Container

Today’s tutorial on Splitcoast is for Sour Cream Container. I thought it would be another great little container to show before Valentine. They are super quick and very easy to make.

I made this sample when I wrote the tutorial.

I used a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Le Jardin Designer Paper.

The centerpiece is stamped with stamps from the Carte Postale stamp set.

I also made a clear sour cream container out of a 1/4″ sheet of acetate and the Happy Heart Day stamp set to show off a slight variation.

Additional info: I used Sticky Strip to tape my Acetate sour cream container. BUT….after 1 1/2 weeks (yesterday) it popped apart. If you want your sour cream container to hold longer then that, use eyelets or brads additionally on the short ends.
