Yesterday’s Featured Stamper was Renee Van Stralen. I picked one of her latest cards and cased it.

I made my card a bit smaller to fit the small long envelopes Stampin’ Up! used to sell.
My card base was a 6 1/2″ Chocolate Chip cardstock square folded in half.
Next were two pieces of Spring Break Designer paper. That is such a fun paper pack!
I used the ticket corner punch on the bottom two corners and tied Pumpkin Pie striped ribbon where the two designer papers meet.
The sentiment is from Lovely Labels. It is stamped in Pumpkin Pie and punched out with the 1 1/4″ circle punch. It was layered on a 1 3/8″ Soft Sky circle and a Chocolate Chip scallop circle.
I finished the card off with a Pretties Kit flower that has an Ice Circle Rhinestone brad as it’s center.
Like the title said….super simple and easy!
Cards for Troops Update:
Rick told all his buddies that Valentine cards are about to come in. They are calling him the “Card Man”. LOL Everyone is very excited.
I told Rick to take some pictures of the men and women getting the cards. Unfortunately they had a major cable cut. Rick can’t call and won’t be able to send pictures for several weeks. Everyone is bummed over there. That makes our card packages even more special.
I will definitely let you know when the boxes arrives.
P.S.: Saturday I received a box from …Roberts with all kinds of cards.
Rebecca update:
Rebecca is doing fine. Her gum seems to heal well, both on the place where they the gum was cut out and where it attached again. She misses her carbonated drinks and sleeping on her side. She also wants to eat without the stent ( plastic cover for the top of her mouth). She can close her mouth completely again and smiling doesn’t hurt anymore. Today will be her first day at school.
