Ever since I got the Spring Summer Preview brochure from Stampin’ Up!, I wanted to make one of those adorable little boxes. Well…yesterday I tried it out for the first time.

I will change the box up a bit (make it slightly bigger) and write a tutorial soon. Today it’s very dark and windy.  My prayers goes out to everyone touched by these horrible tornados last night!

The little box’s sides measure 2″ each.

It is basically an explosion box, but with extra flaps on the four sides.

The box is made with Pretty in Pink cardstock. I stamped the Boho Background stamp with Purely Pomegranate on it.

Scallops were added to the flaps with the corner punch.

I stamped the medallion twice on Whisper White cardstock in Purely Pomegranate and once on Pretty in pink with the same color to make my layered medallion. I added a pink Ice circle Rhinestone brad in the center.

The box is held together by Purely Pomegranate double stitched ribbon. The sentiment is from the Boho Background as well.

Austin saw this little box after I was done and wanted to steal all those kisses out of it. I hadn’t even taken a picture yet. LOL No Hershey is safe from him!

  1. Okay, it is funny that you did this box. I just printed out the template from the Stampin Up! website and thought, wow, that is really small. I would be so pleased if you would reconfigure it to a bigger size. I am a brand new demonstrator for SU! and am not very good at coming up with patterns yet.
    Thanks!
