Look at those happy faces
Check it out!
My wonderful husband Rick is the third from the left.
He is a goofy guy and made fellow military as well as a civilian post with the cards!
He told me to tell everyone thanks again! Also…if you ever want to just send cards without me organizing it…email me and I will send you his address.

This is so cool. I’ll have to show my hubby later when he gets home or I can try to email it to him and see if the base doesn’t have blog sites blocked. I’d have loved to participate but had other obligations to fulfill. Hopefully next time! Thanks for doing this. This is so nice!!

i just had to tell you that what you did was great!! my husband was in the navy 21 years and i was an ombudsman for one of those years…we use to send stuff all the time to that sub. every thing meant so much to those men. i wanted to send you cards, but the time escaped me. maybe next time!! we so need to support our troops…my dad was in vietnam and i lived that war my whole life, no one ever appreciated the sacrifices those men made for us. so i thank you…>”

Very inspiring Beate. I didn’t get in on this one but it sure has left an impression on me to share more of my talent and to pray more for our soldiers.
God bless them and their families.

Beate, Hi. I am the leader of a girl scout troop in North Carolina and we would love to send some cards. Do they want blank cards that they can send back home? Also my troop has collected 65 boxes of girl scout cookies that we are sending to the troops. I am not sure how it works but I will see if I can get them designated for your husbands troop. Just email whenever you get a chance and I will have the girls start working on some cards. By the way I love your blog, I am not a blogger myself but I love to get ideas from yours. Thanks, Traci Greenwood
