Like every Monday, I am busy cleaning. I am not sure if I get to stamp today.

Si I thought I share with you a card I made for last week’s sketch challenge  on Splitcoast:

My card base is a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Chocolate chip cardstock folded in half.

The horizontal layer is a 1 5/8″ x 3 1/2″ piece of Taken with Teal.

I stamped the branch from Always in Chocolate Chip on it and sponged the edges. I added a scalloped white strip behind it and  paper pierced a double row on the left and bottom of the Taken with Teal piece.

For the main image I inked up the bird from Always in Taken with Teal craft ink and rocked the edges with Chocolate Chip craft ink.

Then I heat embossed the image twice and cut it out.

The bird was set on a 2″ x 3″  piece of distressed and paper pierced Certainly Celery Prints Designer paper.

I stamped the bigger flower in Pumpkin Pie craft ink, embossed it and cut it out.

Next I stamped the small flower in  Chocolate Chip Craft ink, embossed it, cut it out and layered it on the bigger flower and secured it with a vintage brad.

For the horizontal strip I used my favorite ribbon right now. Stampin’ Up!’s striped Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon.

Some of you have been asking about Rebecca.

That is so sweet of you.

My little one is healing fine.

I took this picture for Rick to show him the graft.

As you can see, she had Mac & Cheese before I took this picture. LOL

Thursday Rebecca called me from school. She talked really funny. She said that she was afraid that the graft came off. I took her to the periodonist who reassured the both of us that she is healing fine and everything is looking like it should be.
