Technique Wednesday - Tiny Treat Basket
Cambria Turnbow is a sweet friend of mine. She is an amazing artist and comes up with the cutest projects. For one of those project she wrote the tutorial on SCS today. I had to try my hand on this adorable little basket myself.
This basket comes together in a matter of minutes. For real!!!
I think even with the scallop patties, the entire project took me 30 minutes.
You got to love fast, cute projects like that.
For tha patty covers, I stamped four images from Pun Fun in Black Stazon on Shimmery White cardstock. They were colored with Aqua Painter and Bashful Blue, Wild Wasabi and Groovy Guava ink.
The patties were from some Easter Candy. I don’t like Peppermint and chocolate together. I am a picky eater. But everyone loves regular chocolate, right?
The patterned paper is from the Jersey Shore Designer Paper pack. The basket base is plain old Whisper White cardstock.
The edges were scalloped with the corner rounder and the handle is Double Stitched Wild Wasabi Ribbon. The ribbon was threaded through holes I made with the horizontal Slit Punch and is held together by Bashful Blue Brads.
I didn’t add a sentiment just yet. This can be for a birthday party for a little one as well as a little Welcome baby gift. Aren’t those Pun Fun image super cute even punched out with the circle punches???? I just love that set (Just in case you haven’t noticed yet. I promise I will use other sets soon!).
Have a wonderful day! Hugs and smiles
Oh…and if you decide to make one of those darling baskets, link to this post so I can check them out! I tell you…they are super fast and absolutely adorable!
