Hardware Thanks

I love the new products in the occasional mini catalog!

For my sample for this weeks sketch challenge I used the Afternoon Tea Designer paper, the new Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware as well as the new set Live your Dream.

The card base is a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Soft Sky cardstock.

Next is a 4″ x 5 1/4″ ticket corner punched piece of Chocolate Chip.

The four Designer Paper rectangles measure 1 7/8″ x 2 1/2″. Each has the outer corner ticket corner punched as well.

The seams are stamped with the Argyle stamp from All in a Row.

The Chocolate chip layer in the middle of the card measures 2 1/4″ x 3 3/4″, the following Soft Sky layer is a 1/4″ smaller. The Shimmery White layer measures 1 7/8″ x 2 1/2″. It was first stamped with the line stamp from Live your Dream in Soft Sky. Next I inked up the big flower stamp with Groovy Guava and Wild Wasabi ink and added Chocolate chip the center of each flower with my marker.

After I taped that layer down, I added more faux stitching with my Argyle stamp.

The bird was stamped in Soft Sky on a 1 1/4″ Shimmery White circle. Over it I stamped Thanks in Chocolate Chip. It was layered first on a 1 3/8″ Chocolate Chip circle, then on a Groovy Guava scallop circle.

I punched a small hole in the top of the sentiment layer with my Crop-a-dile and threaded Wild Wasabi Stitched Ribbon through.  After threading both ends through one of the new Styled Silver ribbon buckles I tied the ribbon together.

On the bottom right I punched three small holes and layered Ice Rhinestone brads over the same ribbon buckle used for the ribbon. I saw this idea at SCS on this card by Betty and new I wanted to show it off in one of my cards.

To participate in the challenge and be entered in the  raffle, make a card with this layout and upload it either to your blog, or to an online gallery.

If you upload your card on SCS, put WSC38  (NO SPACE INBETWEEN WSC AND 38) in the keyword section. That way we can look at all of them at once!

Post a link to your card to this blog entry as a comment. Please add your entry# to it.

I will determine the winner  with Random.org on Monday at 11:00 a.m.
