WSC51 winner - Genelle Collins
Random.org picked #99. That was this entry from Genelle Collins, aka. Nelliekc.
Thank you all for participating in the challenge. The entries I have seen so far were wonderful.
Personal Note:
Thank you so much for your kind and supportive posts and emails. They really lifted me up.
I haven’t stamped since last week. The kids are home, my air conditioner is not working right (think 85 degrees in the house during the days) and I haven’t had new stamp sets (well, one, Fresh Cuts, but I have used that a lot already). I think it’s time for me to start my summer break.
I will continue to post challenges, but I don’t know if I will make samples or not. I definitely won’t stamp until my AC is working again. Right now we just lay around the house trying not to move.
Again, thanks so much for your support.

Sorry about your AC. You should plan a trip to an air conditioned entertainment in your area (for us the science center). Roam around all day in there and when you get back home, you will be so tired, you will be able to sleep even if it is a little hot
Our cool air is all in our basement. I am thinking of changing our sleeping area to the basement in the summer. Hope things get sorted out soon.

I love the heat, but having a working AC is important. I miss your samples and all the details in your descriptions. I can offer you a tall glass of homemade iced tea!

Congrats to the winner! Her card is so pretty!
Sorry about your AC Beate! I can’t imagine living in that heat without it. YIKES! It’s cool here today…think about 60, come on up for a visit and bring a sweater…lol!

Enjoy your summer break! You deserve it! And I hope your AC gets fixed soon. The same thing happened to us last year when I was 9 month pregnant. It was miserable!

Nothing like a broken air conditioner to make us appreciate them when they’re working! We came home from vacation a couple of years ago & ours had gone out. It was 113 for 3 days in a row - we couldn’t even GO IN the house! Thank goodness our daughter & family live nearby, so we could stay with them! Hope all your AC troubles are quickly resolved!

Oh goodness sweetie. Sorry to hear that your AC is on the fritz. I know that is unbearable, especially with the heat we’ve been having lately. Try to stay cool and I hope you get it fixed soon!!!!

Beate, I hope things turn around for the cooler/better very soon; we’ll miss your samples, but VERY much understand why you might NOT be stamping too much. Take care and keep kool!!

Sorry to hear things are still bad for you - nasty comments and now failing air con - not a great summer so far. Hope you can get to the beach for some splashing in the ocean to cool down. Take care and hope it is fixed very soon. Janine

Hope your A/C is fixed soon, I can’t imagine being without it. Not sure what’s going on about negative statments, but I do know that your cards and tutorials are an inspiration to me. You are very talented, don’t let them get you down.

I feel for you. When I am without air conditioning, I am not good for anything but lying around and groaning. Good luck beating the heat.
Congrats to Gennelle. That is a lovely card!

Can you send some of your heat our way!! We are freezing here on the West Coast of Canada! They have actually come up with a new month - it’s called Junuary!! Highs of 11C (about 54F). Had to turn the furnace back one and we are still sleeping in flannel jammies! Hopefully summer will come SOON!!
Enjoy your break. Thanks for still posting the challenges. Always fun to get. Blessings.

I do not write much in blogs, but feel compelled to write on this matter. I am very inspired with your work and love seeing your work. I was saddened by the remarks my self and understand your blue mood. PLEASE do not stay away long as I would miss your inspiration that has renewed and freshened my approach to the stamping world. You have totally hooked me on Nestablities!! You Dirty Dog!!! HAHA….
On a side note.. Send some heat to Montana!!! Yesterday it started raining and turned to snow, by this am there was about 2 inches on my deck and temps were in the 30s!!! Yikes!!
