Beautiful cake. I’ve always loved colour on wedding cakes, even way back when it was far from fashionable over here. I don’t often think commercial cakes look good enough to eat, LOL, but if that tastes half as good as it looks it’ll be doing well. Thanks for the challenge - be back later in the week.:-)

This is my first BIC. It is a challenge for me to go from something like a cake or an outfit to paper and ink. I don’t think my brain works that way! It is good to step out of my comfort zone.

I was hoping to make a card with tiers like the cake, but no time.
It’s been raining non-stop for the last 7 hours, so it’s too dark for a good photo, and I can’t scan it because all the flower petals are curled up and I don’t want to squash them.
I see some of the design team used the blue. Being a cook I just zoomed in on the cake and never even noticed the background, LOL.
