Apricot flowers
From the inspiration picture, I took the colors Apricot Appeal, Chocolate Chip (okay…it’s a stretch, but between the drawers and the handles there is a darker color), Pumpkin Pie and Almost Artichoke. Of course I had to use some kind of flower for the card. The tulips are so prominent in that photo.
The card base is a 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock folded in half.
Next is a 4″ square of Always Artichoke cardstock. Both top corners were punched with the ticket corner punch.
On top of that is a 3 3/4″ square of Apricot Appeal cardstock. Again both top corners were punched with the ticket corner punch as well.
The horizontal panel is a 1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Summer Picnic Designer Paper. Underneath is a small strip of Whisper White cardstock that was punched with the Scallop Edge Punch. 5/8″ wide Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon was tied around the designer paper/apricot layer and a row was paper pierced over the designer paper layer.
For the sentiment I inked up the Oval Thank you stamp from Only Ovals first with markers. The flower was inked with Old Olive, Apricot Appeal and Pumpkin Pie and the frame with Always Artichoke. The image was punched out with the new Wide Oval Punch. The frame looked too flat, so I stamped the entire image in Always Artichoke, cut out the frame and taped it over the marker image. Next I stamped the image again in Pumpkin Pie, cut out the thank you ribbon and taped it over the frame/marker image. Last I taped the entire sentiment layer on a scallop oval that was cut with Small Oval Nestabilities (the third smallest works great with the wide oval punch from Stampin’ Up!)
That’s it. Another super simple card! Have a wonderful day! Hugs and smiles

For simple cards this looks very complicated Beate! It’s your stamping… I wish I had the patience to do marker stamping. YIKES! Such a beauty. I’m gonna have to learn to have more patience!
