Okay…I am super late posting this. I only got to stamp last night and this morning it is raining and I have no light to take good pictures. I will post the pictures now and add the text in a minute. Here is my sample for today’s inspiration challenge.

From the inspiration piece, I took the colors Night of Navy, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White and a lighter colored blue. I also wrote down stripes and dots.

When I saw yesterday’s Technique Challenge over on SCS, I knew I wanted to incorporate the Mini pizza box template into my project for today.

I took a 5 1/4″ x 9 1/2″ piece of Night of Navy cardstock and scored it at 1″ all around. Then I scored the long way also at 4 1/4″ and 5 1/4″. I cut and taped the flaps with Sticky Strip.

Under the three open edges of the lid, I added a small scalloped strip of Whisper White cardstock.

On the top of the box I added another small white scalloped strip underneath a 1 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ strip of Maine Blueberry Designer Paper. Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon was tied around the top of the designer paper and the top edge was distressed. Three 1/4″ navy circles were attached to the bottom right and Ruby Red Brads were added to each circle.

The sentiment is from the Cute & Curly stamp set. I stamped it twice, once in Night of Navy, once in Riding Hood Red. The Navy one was punched out with the Curly Label Punch, from the Riding Hood Red label the oval was cut out. I inked up the Thank you from another label of the same set with the Night of Navy Marker and stamped the sentiment on the lower right of the red oval. The oval was taped on the Navy Label.

The flower is from the Boho Background stamp set. Again I stamped it twice, once in Navy, once in Riding Hood red. From the Red image I cut out the flower, from the Navy, only the inner circle. I taped them together and added a Brilliant Blue brad (I was surprised it worked so well with navy)in the center. The layered flower was adhered with a dimensional to the label. The label was attached with dimensionals to the box.

For the top of the inside of the box I layered a 3″ Riding Hood Red cardstock square with a 1/4″ smaller piece of Night of Navy.

The 2 1/2″ Whisper White square was stamped with a greeting from Boho Backgrounds in Night of Navy as well as the background flowers from the same set in once stamped of Bashful Blue.

The white square was adhered to the other two layers and paper pierced. Another layered flower made the same way as the flower on the box top was adhered to the left of the sentiment. The box is filled with little Hershey Kisses.

It’s still super dark and raining outside. I hope to get you better pictures soon. Have a wonderful day!  Hugs and smiles
