Sparkly Cupcakes
Tuesday’s Color Challenge was Pink Pirouette, Basic Black and Whisper White. A very soft and pretty color combo. I don’t know why I had such hard time with my card. I tried a card sketch I had written down a while back and I just couldn’t make it look right. Since I didn’t get to stamp yesterday, I share this card with you anyway.
I am about to bring Rebecca to school and go for my walk, so today the description will be short and sweet.
The card base is a 5″ x 8″ piece of Pink Silhouette, scored at 4 1/4″.
The little cupcakes are from the Holiday Blitz stamp set and were stamped in Black Stazon. The cupcake top was stamped on Pink Pirouette Pattern Designer paper, run through my xyron, cut out and dipped in Dazzling Diamond Glitter. They were cut out and mounted with dimensionals on 1″ Whisper White circles.
The sentiment is from Bitty Birthday. It was stamped in Black Stazon, punched with the small oval punch and layered on a 1″ black circle. Under the styled silver brads is a 1/4″ circle of Pink Pirouette Pattern Designer paper with Dazzling Diamond Glitter.
I had originally planned to have three cupcakes on the front, but then didn’t know where to add the sentiment.
Since I had an extra cupcake circle, I added it to the inside.

These are adorable! I love the sparkles on the cupcake, and I like that you DIDNT do the 3 images. Sometimes less is more.

This is really quite a girly color combo….lovely cupcakes, great with the glitter… never thought a circel and an oval can be put on top of each other, but that looks so nice….and love your inside decoration!
