This was one of the make and takes at my workshop yesterday. I had so much fun.

I love Genie Bags and I especially love the idea of using the Top Note Die to make one. I just love that die.

We started out with two Chocolate Chip and two Kiwi Kiss Top Note die cuts. Friendly Words Jumbo wheel was added on the lower half of the Kiwi top note. It was cut down a bit, Red Taffeta Ribbon was added and the Kiwi Kiss Top Notes were adhered to the Chocolate chip ones.

The handle holes were punched with the large oval punch. On a 1 3/8″ Shimmery White circle the Outline flower from Botanical Blossoms were stamped with Basic Brown. The inside stamp was misted with water, then inked with Pumpkin Pie and Real Red watercolor Crayons, misted again and then stamped. The circle was layered on a Chocolate scallop circle, the edges were paper pierced and it was adhered under the knot of the ribbon with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Basic Brown and punched out with the small oval punch. A few leaves were added with Kiwi Kiss before it was adhered next to the flower circle. To finish it off, Dazzling Diamond glitter was added to the flower head with the help of 2 Way Glue.

Have a wonderful Sunday! Hugs and smiles

  13. What did you adhere the two finished top notes to….a rectangle shaped box or what? Just glue them together around the bottom and part way up the sides similar to an evelope? I would appreciate knowing which or what to do. Thanks.
