Yesterday’s Sketch challenge on SCS looked perfect for using my new Feel the Joy Unity stamp set.

My card base is a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Chocolate chp folded in half. It is followed by a 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer of Kraft cardstock. The edges of that piece were distressed with White Craft ink for a softer look. Next is a 1/4″ smaller piece of Chocolate Chip that was layered with two strips of Thoroughly Modern Designer paper that measure a hair under 1 3/4″ x 4 3/4″. The strips were paper pierced and sanded. White 5/8″ wide Satin Ribbon was tied around the last three layers and three medium size Clear Rhinestone Brads were added to the top right.

The focal point layers were cut and embossed with Curved Rectangle Nestabilities. The image is from the Unity set Feel the Joy and was stamped in White Craft ink. The edges of the Kraft layer were sponged with White craft ink and the layer was adhered to a sponged Chocolate Chip layer. Then the edges of the Kraft cardstock were paper pierced. The sentiment is also from Feel the Joy. It was stamped in Chocolate chip on Whisper White cardstock and punched out with the large oval punch. The edges were sponged with Sahara Sand and the oval was layered on a Chocolate Chip Scallop Oval Punch-out. A Filigree brad was added to the bottom right and connected to the sentiment layer with another Clear Rhinestone brad. The sentiment as well as the main image were adhered to the card front with dimensionals.

For the card inside I sponged the edges of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Kraft cardstock and paper pierced the top left corner. Next one side of a 1 3/4″ x 4″ strip of Whisper White was punched with the Eyelet Border punch, layered under a 1 1/4″ x 4″ strip of Thoroughly Modern Designer paper and adhered to the card inside. The top edge of the Designer Paper was paper pierced and the entire strip was sanded. Last the image was stamped with Chocolate Chip directly over the strip and Kraft cardstock.
