I made this card for the Featured Stamper Challenge on Sunday. Kathy, CAKath, was the featured stamper this week. Congratulations to Kathy. Her gallery is definitely worth visiting and browsing. I picked her Celebration of Carol card to case.
I can’t believe I made a CAS card. Those are super hard for me. But I kept Kathy’s design and colors. I stamped the Gerber Daisies from Flourishes with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ Neenah Solar White card front.
The sentiment is from the same set and was stamped in the lower right hand side. A frame was drawn with ruler and 0.3 black Copic Multiliner and the flowers were colored with Copic Markers (Flower petals B32, Flower center Y17, YR15, YR18, Stems YG01, YG03, YG05, Glow YG0000).

This is really gorgeous Beate. I love the “faux” frame around it and how Friend cuts into that frame. I used to have a hard time with CAS but I seem to go more that way nowadays with time constraints. Yours is a perfect CAS:)

The coloring is beautiful, but what I really love is the drawn frame and the way you have nestled the sentiment into the corner, just perfect!
It is so lovely. It looks so real and you can feel the freshness of the real flower. You choose the right color and I love how you apply it to that flower.
