Today’s Kraftin’ Kimmie Challenge is to create a Christmas card with non-traditional colors. I used Clara from the upcoming release for my card.

I stamped Clara in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on X-Press It Blending card and colored her with Copic Markers (hair: E13, E15, E19, E18 Dress: R81, R83, R85 Skin: E000, E01, Nutcracker: G24, G28, E41, E43, E44, E47, E49, C5, C7, C9, Y26, Y28 shoes: E44, E470.  The cardstock was cut down to 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″ airbrushed with E51 with the Scallop Frame die from Spellbinders on top of it and layered on Canyon Brown Neenah cardstock, cut and embossed with the same die.

The card base is a 4 3/4″ x 12″ piece of textured Chocolate Chip cardstock, folded in half.  I colored the edges with Copic Marker E49 to make it darker and match the images.

A 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ piece of October Afternoon Very Merry paper was stitched to a 4 1/2″ x 5 3/4″ different pattern from the October Afternoon Good Cheer paperMelissa Frances white lace was adhered to the horizontal strip. Over it May Arts White Silk ribbon was tied and topped with a Basic Grey Button.

The sentiment is from Kimmie’s Sassy Sentiments. They just crack me up. The sentiment was stamped on Neenah Solar White cardstock  in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. It was cut and embossed with Petite Oval Nestabilities and airbrushed with Copic Marker G24. Pink and Silver Kaisercraft Rhinestones finish off the card.

I hope you have time to play! It’s an easy and fun challenge. Have a great weekend!
Hugs and smiles
