Two images I colored made it in the 2011 Copic Catalog. I am sooo stinking excited. The name of the stamp sets weren’t listed, so I thought I better do it here.
The first image is from Crafty Secrets Roses Stamp set. It was stamped on Express It! Blending Card in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Copic Markers. I didn’t write down the colors and I colored the images back in September, but I think the colors were R27, R29, R39, R89, BG93, BG96, BG99.
I love this Rose image. It is sooo much fun to color!
I love Crissy Armstrong’s Fairy images from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps. For my second image I chose the Bird Fairy. Again the image was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I am sorry, but I really don’t recall all the colors used on the Fairy. I know there were quite a lot.
Wait until you see the rest of the artwork in that catalog. I can’t believe my images made it in. All the other artwork is hand drawn and colored and really takes your breath away. Copic added each artist’s name and blog address to their page.

Congratulations, Beate! I can see why they chose your work – it is outstanding! The rose does not look like a drawing that’s been colored. It looks like a real, 3 dimensional rose is lying on the table – that’s just how good you are with shading. The fairy is also one of my favorite stamps. She is so beautiful, and you colored her perfectly.
I wish I could send some warm weather your way. I live in southern Alabama, and although we’ve had some pretty cold days this winter, yesterday was beautiful – in the 60’s sunny, and breezy. It felt like spring.Of course, it will be back cold this weekend, but we don’t have to deal with the snow.

Hi Beate, we’ve spoken on here before, and I am faithful follower. I read and learn more than comment. 🙁 sorry. I do believe you remember me from SCS, as we have spoken about it before.
My previous “name” was mrikitty. You may or may not remember the story of why I am no longer a member. I know you hate winter and I will be sad when you leave, but I hope it is really warm at your next destination. Just think how happy your heart is with all that shoveling exercise:D If we lived closer my son would shovel for you. He loves it. He even asked for a shovel from Santa…he got it! Santa is no fool. We are in Alabama and we have had snow 3x’s already. We are supposed to get more again on Monday. Crazy!! I lived in Iowa for 13 years. I have had my fair share of shoveling. I don’t miss it much. 🙂
