We also have our wonderful special guests joining us for this hop –  Deb Routledge, Jacque Beddingfield and Elaine Hughes!

The Whimsy Stamps DT have been sneak peeking these fabulous stamps for the past 4 days, so if you missed them be sure to hop on over to the Whimsy Inspirations Blog for some more inspiration!

If you would like to participate in the hop and you didn’t arrive here from Vanja ‘s blog, please CLICK HERE to return to the beginning of the hop at Crystal’s blog.

The hop starts today (Wednesday March 16th at noon EST) and ends on Wednesday March 23rd at noon EST.

For this hop we have 6 different prize draws! We have not one but TWO grand prize draws, so two lucky hoppers will win a large selection of new release stamps. Grand Prize 1 will be for those who help us advertise the hop, and Grand Prize 2 will be for those who hop along with us. Also, we have 4 mini candy stops throughout the hop where you can enter to win a new release stamp! I’m not going to tell you where they are, so if you haven’t found them you’ll just have go back to the beginning and start hopping!

For my blog hop creation I used Ann’s new Spring Letter Seals. The background was created with today’s new tutorial on Splitcoast called Delft Tile. Julie Warner is the author.

I started with a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Solar White cardstock and scored 1 1/4″ square tiles. The Music Notes background was stamped over it in Vintage Photo Distress ink. The edges of each tile was lightly sponged with Vintage Photo after using 1/5th YR31 and YR30 Copic Markers were used to highlight each tile. The background was cut down to 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ (can you tell this card wasn’t planned out from the beginning? LOL) so it would fit into the Scallop Frame that had been cut out of Canyon Brown cardstock.

A 3 1/4″ long strip of white cardstock was cut with the new Double Scallop Border die. Silk Ribbon was first colored with Copic Marker R12 and then tied around the border strip. The strip was adhered to the lower half of the frame layers. and the ribbon was topped with a Recollection pearl brad.

The Butterfly Kiss seal from Spring Letter Seals was stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored with Copic Markers (1/5th YR31, YR30, R11, R12, G20, G40), cut and embossed with Classic Circle Nestabilities dies and adhered to a piece of  Canyon brown cardstock, cut and embossed with Scallop Circle Nestabilities. Before the image was adhered to the scallop layers with dimensionals, part of a Zva Creative Pearl Swirl was adhered to the tile layer. Another label was stamped, the biggest butterfly colored, cut out and adhered to the lower right of the sentiment label. Each butterfly was covered with the Clear Spica pen for subtle sparkle.

All the layers were adhered to a 4″ x 10 1/2″ piece of Kraft cardstock folded in half.

So now it’s time for you to continue the hop by hopping on over to Simonne’s blog.

Finally, here is a complete blog hop list in hopping order:

Thank you so much for hopping with us today and I hope you enjoy the new releases! If you like the Puddle Duck image from Meljen’s Designs, then you came to the right blog. My blog is a mini prize stop and you have the chance to win that darling image. To enter the drawing, just add your name to the Mr. Link underneath this post. Good luck!!!

Have a wonderful day! Hugs and smiles

Beate
