The hop starts today (Wednesday June 15th at noon EST) and ends on Wednesday June 22th at noon EST.
For this hop we have 6 different prize draws! We have not one but TWO grand prize draws, so two lucky hoppers will win a large selection of new release stamps. Grand Prize 1 will be for those who help us advertise the hop, and Grand Prize 2 will be for those who hop along with us. Also, we have 4 mini candy stops throughout the hop where you can enter to win a new release stamp! I’m not going to tell you where they are, so if you haven’t found them you’ll just have go back to the beginning and start hopping!
For my card I started by stamping Meljen’s Garden Fence in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock. I stamped the fence again on Eclipse Masking Tape, cut the mask and adhered it over the fence on the cardstock. Next I stamped Crissy Armstrong’s Bart’s BBQ in Tuxedo Black over the fence so that he appears behind it.
The image was cut and embossed with a Petite Oval Nestabilities die before it was colored with Copic Markers ( Fence: E31, E33, E35, W3, W5 Bart: B12, B14, B16, B18, YG01, YG03, YG17 Flowers: YG01, YG03, YG17, Y13, Y15, Y17 Grass: YG21, YG25, YG17 Hot Dog: E08, E09 Cup and fork: C0, C1, C3, C5 Ladybug: R27, E09 Sky: B0000, B000).
A 3″ x 4 1/4″ piece of MME Lime Twist Fly A Kite paper strip was adhered to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the same paper pack. The layers were stitched to a 3/16″ bigger piece of black cardstock. May Arts Organdy Ribbon was tied around the layers before they were adhered to the card base, a 4 1/2″ x 12″ piece of Core’dination (Whitewash Collection) cardstock folded in half. The bottom of the card base had been cut with one of the Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities dies.
The sentiment is from Ann’s new The Good Life Tickets stamp set. It was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut out and colored with the same Copic Markers that had been used on Bart. The ticket was adhered under the bow. Silver Kaisercraft Rhinestones finish off the card.
