Hello and welcome to Day one of our November Rubber Die Release Showcase!
On Wednesday (16 November) Whimsy Stamps released this month’s rubber designs and new shapeology dies. From then until 23 November the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new stamps and dies with a daily mini blog hop.
Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw.
To be entered into today’s mini blog hop prize draw, be sure to leave a comment on ALL of the DT’s posts listed below by 12.00PM EST tomorrow. All winners will be announced on the Whimsy Inspirations blog after 12.00PM EST on 23 November.
I made this card with one of Whimsy’s new Wee stamps called Wee Florist. I stamped her in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock.
She was cut with a Classic Rectangle Nestabilities die and colored with Copic Markers (Hair: Y21, Y23, E31, E33 Skin: E0000, E00, E01 Pants: B41, B52, B45 Shirt: YR30, 1/5th YR31, YR31, YR21 Bucket: E21, E23, E25, E27, E29, C00, C1, C3 Roses: R11, R12, R14, R17 Ground: W00, W1, W3 Sky: B0000, B000, B01). The image was adhered to a piece of Canyon Brown cardstock, cut and embossed with a Label 23 Nestabilities die.
Two 4 1/8″ long strips of MME Lost & Found 2 Rosy Patterned Paper were adhered 4 1/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of the same paper pack. The layers were stitched to a 1/4″ bigger piece of Canyon Brown cardstock. May Arts Organdy Ribbon were tied around the horizontal strips and topped with a yellow button, tied on with Linen Thread.
The stitched layers were adhered to the card base, a piece of Kraft cardstock with a Grand Label 23 Nestabilities die. Before the image layers were adhered, a paper doily was adhered to it.
A sentiment from Whimsy’s Magical Whimsy Seals was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with a Classic Circle Nestabilities die. The seal was colored with Copic Markers B0000 and B000. Baby Bling were added to the sentiment layer and parts of a Finesse Swirl were added to the lower corners of the card.
