I created this card with the newly released Cozy Winter Owl stamp from Whimsy Stamps. It was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed with a Classic Oval Nestabilities die and colored with Copic Markers (Owl: E50, E51, E53, E55, E57   Hat:: R21, R22, R24, R27   Branch: E23, E25, E27, E26, YG61, YG63   Scarf: G0000, G000, G00).

The image was masked, a cloud mask was added and the oval was airbrushed with Copic Marker B02. The cloud bottom was colored with Copic Markers W00, W0 and W1 and Stardust Stickles was added to the snow on the branch and Sugar Sparkly Fluff to the hat trim. The image was adhered to a piece of Kraft cardstock that was hand cut into a slightly bigger oval. The pieces where adhered to a piece of Canyon Brown cardstock, cut and embossed with a Nestabilities Label 18 die.

Three 5″ long strips of MME Lost & Found Market Street paper were adhered to create a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of paper. The bottom two corners were rounded before the layers were stitched to a 1/4″ bigger piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock.  May Arts Gingham Ribbon was tied around the middle strip. It was topped with a button tied on with Linen Thread.

The layers were adhered to the card base, a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Kraft cardstock folded in half. The image layers were adhered to the card with dimensionals. Parts of a brown Finesse swirl were adhered to the upper right and lower left of the card.

A sentiment from the new Winter Notables stamp set was stamped in Tuxedo Ink on Solar White cardstock. It was colored with Copic Markers used on the main image. It was adhered to the lower right of the image with dimensionals to finish off the card.

Tammy challenges us to use flags in our project. For my sample I started out with an image from Petals & Peace. It was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock. It was cut and embossed with an Flourish exclusive Spellbinders die and colored with Copic Markers (Roses: Y13, Y15, Y17    Pine cones: E97, E99, E37   Pine bough: G21, G24, G28    background: Boooo, B000, B32).

Clear Spic pen was added over the darkest part of the roses and the image was adhered to a piece of Canyon Brown cardstock and hand cut into a slightly bigger layer.

Two 3 3/4″ long pieces of MME Lost & Found 2 Sunshine paper were adhered to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Solar White cardstock. A third strip was adhered over both pieces and part of a paper doily underneath that. The edges were stitched and brown May Arts Ribbon was tied around them. The ribbon was topped with a button which was tied on with Linen Thread.  The layers were adhered to the card base, a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Canyon Brown cardstock folded in half.

A sentiment from the same set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a thin strip of cardstock. The right end was cut into a flag, the paper strip was bend into a wave. Parts of a brown Finesse Swirl finish off the card.

Yesterday’s Featured Stamper on Splitcoaststampers was Anne Harada.  I cased this card of hers for the Featured Stamper challenge as well as the current JustRite Stampers challenge. I kept the top part of her card as a layout and the butterflies. I switched the blue with pink and her gorgeous lace (didn’t have double sided lace like that) with Crochet Lace topped with Organdy Ribbon.

I stamped two butterfly images from the new Botanical Butterflies set two times each in Embossing Ink on Natural White cardstock and embossed them with clear embossing powder. The images were cut and embossed with a Classic Square Nestabilities die and two images were sponged with Spun Sugar, two with Frayed Burlap Distress ink. The squares were stitched to pieces of Canyon Brown Cardstock, that had been cut and embossed with a Eyelet Square Nestabilities die.

A 4 3/8″ x 4 3/4″ piece of MME Lost & Found 2 Blush Patterned paper was stitched to a 3/16″ bigger piece of Natural White cardstock. Crochet Lace was adhered over the center horizontally before the four butterfly squares were adhered with dimensionals. Ivory Ogandy Ribbon was tied over the lace and topped with a button, tied on with cream embroidery floss.

A sentiment from Fleur De Lis Label 20 was stamped in Walnut Stain Distress ink on a piece of Natural White cardstock, that had been cut and embossed with a Blossom Tags & Accent die. The inner part of the die cut was sponged lightly with Frayed Burlap ink. It was adhered to the lower left butterfly square.  Two Baby Bling pearls were added to the sentiment and parts of a Finesse Pearl Swirl were added above the sentiment and above the ribbon bow.

The card base was cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities die. The layers were adhered to the card base.

You still have time to participate in the JustRiteStampers challenge. You have to create a Thank you card and add a link to the JustRite Stampers blog before Wednesday evening. You can win stamp sets if your card get chosen as a winner!

The card also works for this month Inspiration Emporium Challenge. We are to use our favorite tool! Besides my sewing machine, I LOVE my Nestabilities dies and my Blending tool. Sponging with the Blending tool and Craft mat create such gorgeous results! I have one blending tool for each color group so I don’t have to change the foam everytime I sponge.

Don’t they look pretty on four Craft Spinners put together? I hope you try out the challenges! JustRiteStampers will give away stamp sets, Inspiration Emporium a $50 gift certificate for the store. So what are you waiting for! Get your stamp on!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.

Here is another card I made for one of the VSN challenge. I combined it with last weeks MFT sketch. For my card I picked the Pure Innocence set called Snow Day. I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock as well as different patterned paper from Echo Parks Season’s Greetings. The image and clothes pieces were colored with Copic Markers (jacket/boots: R17, R29, R39   Hat: YG21, YG25, YG17   Pants: B000, B12, B14    Hair: Y23, E25, E29    Skin: E0000, E00, E01) cut out and assembled.

A piece of Season’s Greetings paper was cut with MFT’s Tag die-namic die. The edges were sanded before the paper was stitched to a piece of Solar White cardstock. A sentiment from Snow Day was stamped on the right edge in Tuxedo Black Ink. The paper pieced image was adhered to the tag with dimensionals. Sugar Sparkly Fluff was added to the pom poms of the hat and the rims of the boot. Stardust Stickles was added to the snowballs.

Two 4″ long strips of Season’s Greetings were cut with the Small Scalloped Border Die-namics die, sanded and adhered to a 4″ x 5″ piece of the same paper pack.  a 3 1/4″ wide patterend paper was adhered on top of the blue paper and two 3/8″ wide Kraft strips were adhered to the papers before they were stitched to a 1/4″ bigger piece of Kraft cardstock.

White Organdy Ribbon was tied above the red strips and topped with a blue button, which was tied on with iridescent curling ribbon. Before the tag was adhered to the layers with dimensionals, a button was tied to the top with more curling ribbon.

Solar White cardstock was cut and embossed with a Snowflake Borderabilities die. The snowflakes were airbrushed with Copic Marker B02. The snowflakes were adhered to the layers with dimensionals. The airbrushed parts of the snowflake were covered with Stardust Stickles. Everything was adhered to the card base a 4 1/2″ x 11″ piece of white cardstock, folded in half.

This months Bring Back Beautiful Challenge is to create a special fold card. I had seen a sample of a Diamond Fold card where the card wasn’t used as shown in the tutorial, but inside out. The diamond was inside the card, not on top. I thought that would be a great thing to try out.

For my sample I stamped an image from Meet me Under the Mistletoe in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock. It was colored with Copic Markers (Leaves G21, G24, G28   Branch: E21, E23, E25   Bow: R08, R24, R29, R39). The image was cut out with a Classic Circle Nestabilities die and the Out of the Box Technique, sponged with Antique Linen Distress ink and layered on a piece of white cardstock cut and embossed with Picot Edge Circle Nestabilities die.

The image was layered on a piece of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock that had been cut and embossed with the Jumbo  Scallop Circle Nestabilities die and the berries of the image were covered with Baby Bling Pearls.

Pieces of Father Christmas Pink Paislee Patterned Paper were adhered to  1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ pieces of white cardstock. May Arts Crochet Lace was adhered over the horizontal paper piece before a border was stitched around the edges of the patterned paper. May Arts Organdy Ribbon was tied around the card to keep it closed. The image was adhered to the left panel with dimensionals.

A sentiment from Meet Me Under The Mistletoe was stamped in Tuxedo Black on a piece of white cardstock cut and embossed with with a Classic Circle die. It was sponged with Antique Linen Distress ink and the part of the image used for the main panel was stamped over the sentiment with the same color. The edges of the sentiment panel were paper pierced.

Parts of a Finesse Pearl Swirl along with more Baby Bling pearls finish off the card front.

The inside of the card is decorated with more Father Christmas paper stitched to white cardstock pieces. I left the diamond piece blank for a personal message.

Every  week I try to shoot a video for one of the older tutorials. This week I picked the Pocket Card Tutorial. I am loving Echo Parks Holly Jolly Christmas patterned paper so much right now, I had to use it again (and should probably order more).

For my main image of the card I picked the image from MFT’s Merry KISSmas stamp set. It was was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock. It was stamped again on pieces of Holly Jolly Christmas paper. Parts were cut out and adhered to the main image. The paper pieces as well as the main image were colored with Copic Markers ( hat/scarf: R00, R30, R32     Shirt/boots: R32, R35, R37     Stockings: E40, E42   Skirt: E43, E44, E47     Skin: E0000, E00, E01    Hair/branch: E23, E25, E29    Snowman: B0000, B000    Hat: G00, G02, G05, G07    Buttons: C5, C7, C9) and cut out.

The image was adhered with dimensionals on a piece of Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed with a Classic Circle Nestabilities die and airbrushed with Copic Marker B02. That circle was adhered to a piece of Canyon Brown cardstock, cut and embossed with a Tear Drop Nestabilities die.

The card base was created out of a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of cardstock, scored at 1 1/4″ and 5 1/2″. The four corners were rounded. A 3 3/4″ square of Holly Jolly paper was stitched to a 1/4″ bigger piece of whtie cardstock. A quarter of a paper doily was adhered to the lower left of the the stitched layers and three buttons were tied to it with Linen Thread.

Part of a Finesse Swirl was adhered over the buttons and more Rhinestones were adhered to the lower right corner. The layers were adhered to the card base. Before the flap was taped down, May Arts Organdy Ribbon was tied around it. The image were adhered over the flap with dimensionals.

The inside tag is a 3 1/2″ x 5″ piece of Solar White cardstock. The top corners were rounded and a 1 1/8″ wide strip of Holly Jolly paper was adhered to the lower half. A sentiment from the Merry KISSmas set was stamped above the strip with Tuxedo Black ink and part of Finesse swirl was adhered next to it.

I punched a half circle out of Holly Jolly paper with a 1 1/4″ circle punch, adhered it to center of the top of the tag and tied another button on with Linen thread.

Today’s Flourishes sneak peek is for the set called Joy is in the Air. I used one of the images for a tin ornament, which was the Holiday Blitz tutorial on Splitcoaststampers on Tuesday this week.

I stamped the house image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock, that had been cut and embossed with a Classic Circle Nestabilities die. The image was colored with Copic Markers (House: E21, E23, E25, E27, E29    Trees: YG61, YG63, YG67    Door/Beams: E40, E41, E42   Reds: R08, R27, R39   Yellow: Y13, Y15, Y17   Sky: B0000, B000, B00). Stardust Stickles was added over the snowy parts, Glossy Accents over the Christmas lights in the tree and gumdrops next to the door.

The image was adhered in a Tart Tin with dimensionals. SnowTex was adhered on the bottom of the tart tin and glitter was added over it while it was still wet.

A hole was punched in the top of the in and Linen Thread was tied through the hole. A ribbon was tied with May Arts gingham ribbon, topped with a button and tied to the Linen thread.

Flourishes has done it again. This month release is AMAZING! AMAZING!!!! Wait until you see it. I am so stinking excited!

For this sample I used the Petals and Peace stamp set. One of the images was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock. It was cut with the new exclusive Spellbinders die and colored with Copic Markers ( Amaryllis: R05, R08, R29, R39 YG63, YG67, YG99  Pine Bough: G21, G24, G28   Bells: Y15, Y35, Y38, E97, E99). The image was sponged with Vintage Photo Distress ink and layered on a piece of Canyon Brown cardstock that was hand cut into a slightly bigger layer.  The bells were covered with Glossy Accents.

Two pieces of MME Lost & Found 2 Sunshine paper were cut and embossed with a Grand Oval Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded before Venice Lace was adhered over the horizontal strip. The layers were stitched to piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock that had been cut and embossed with Grand Scalloped Oval Nestabilities die. That layer was adhered to the card base, also cut and embossed with a Scalloped Oval Nestabilities die.

A sentiment was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Solar White cardstock cut and embossed with another new exclusively Spellbinders die. It was sponged with Antique Linen Distress Ink. It was stamped over with the stamp used in the main image. The sentiment was adhered on the bottom of the image layer with dimensionals. Baby Bling Pearls were added to each end of the sentiment strip and part of a Pearl Swirl was added to the upper left of the image.  A bow created with Gold Organdy Ribbon topped with a Pearl brad above the image finish off the card.
